Day 11

Note to shelf: Measure both dimensions.

Thankfully, the Spirit has a saw, perfect for Do-It-Yourshelf tasks like this. Mark, remove, cut, fit.

Done. And if I dare say so myshelf, not too shabby.

:like:
Nice strait cut.. :tu:
A hint for the feature.  I learned the hard way, deeply score the formica with the corner of the chisel before cutting with the saw to prevent chipping.
(chisel just keeps coming up)
Now tell me how to imbed pictures in my post's like that.

Yeah, I kinda mangled the edge a bit. Nice tip with the chisel, I'll do that.
Just quote my post to see the code. I uploaded the pics to imgur, copy/pasted the code, and just used the spoiler tag.

Thanks R P.
I can't begin to tell you how many times I delt with chips like that.  It wasn't untill I bought a formica scoring tool to cut formica to put on a counter top that I realized my Spirit already had one on it.  Just cost me an extra $60.00 I didn't need to spend.

Sure love those BO Spirits and Swisstools.
Some day I'll find a deal or win the lotto.  I'ld just have to buy a ticket first.

Day 12:
Still early.

My coworker and I started our shift at 5h45am for a job 70km from our homes.
Been driving for 1h35min already and only little over half way because of huge traffic jams

Is today day 1?  I've lost track!  It'll do for me, anyway.  Got my BO X with me today - used it to fix a broken sing plug chain:

Day 11

Removing the last of my office xmas decorations. Twisted off the tie wraps (and a couple of the sticky bases) to remove the rope light from around my desk at work.

I've messed up on my days, this one yesterday should have been day 10 for me

Day 12:

It's good to see all the other Spirit challenge participants showing up now.   :salute:  It's been a good thread so far, and it'll be more fun with a few extra guys.
And Happy Birthday, Douglas!  :drink:

Light snow last night and more snow today. So that makes it a great day for my famous Leftovers Chili! Used the Spirit can opener to get into a can of tomatoes. Victorinox's can opener is still my favorite.

Poncho, with the Spirit, beauty shots seem fairly easy. It's a looker, with curves in all the right places. I gotta say, this is one sweet multitool.

Despite what Pooper says, the SwissTool is very real and very nice.  >:D

Confession time: It's only been a couple weeks now, but I'm starting to miss having a SAK in my pocket. The Spirit has done everything I need (and been ready for more), but I really like having a pocket knife....in my pocket. A straight-up pliers based multitool will never replace a pocket knife for me. I gots no explanation for that, just the way I'm made.  :-\
