Day 4...  Spent the day sorting out the garage.  Stacked firewood, cleared out a load of smurf that the previous owners had kindly left, sorted through boxes of our stuff and manoeuvred my new 4 x 0.8 m (12 x 2 1/2 feet) :D workbench into position.  Got it to the stage where I can now work down there in the evenings, so getting stuff done after work is possible.

Anyway, used the pliers loads to pull nails from old timbers, but by the time I got chance to take a pic it was dark. :ahhh

@SteveC - I know your unit is previously owned, yet it appears as if it is Black Stainless, not BO and not Stainless.   It just looks good!

Is there really only two models of the Spirit, plain and X in choice SS or BO.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I like your Enzo there - I was so close to getting the slippy version a while back... wish I had now. It looks like a good worker.

Opening another package.
Not much fun this time though, just parts to fix an oven door.

Day 15:

Used the Spirit to cut up a chicken. Blade was very sharp and handled this task with ease.

Parts are now marinating in a mixture of buttermilk and cayenne pepper sauce.

Fried chicken tomorrow.   >:D

It's good to hear some one likes that wild cherry.  It's the only life saver I DON'T like.
What other candies make the fave's list MM?

Day 5

Lazy day at home. Did however pulled some nails out of a broken coat hanger before putting it in the fireplace. I spread the ashes on our lawn to get a bit higher pH and slow down the mosse (does it spells like that?) and don't like to spread out nails everywhere

Which I didn't

What happened to that cut up chicken?

Thank you, Spirit.   :salute:

Reamer, give me a couple days notice for when you're gonna show up and I'll have a batch ready for ya.  :tu:

To go with the chicken (along with collard greens, Deviled eggs, and bean salad) I made some sourdough bread. I used the Spirit's knife as a lame in scoring the top of the bread to allow the crust to open and rise. No action shots because everything is moving quickly when the knife scores the bread and it gets thrust into a hot oven with some urgency, but there is a follow-up shot:

Most of us spell that stuff 'moss'. But you shouldn't feel unduly constrained by anachronistic conventions.
