Day 22 + - cleaning up yard for first time this spring. Picking up dead fall from trees, and a large limb that was fairly straight.  Set aside for possible walking stick.
LM Wave cut to desired length and used 110 to level off branch knots and strip down bark and green fungus.

Nice pics...nice walking stick LoopCutter! :like: :tu: :tu:

Good use of the Wave and the 110!

Thank you Barry and Vman.

The 110 worked so well on those knots, slicing was almost effortless.

Why, have you two fallen out?  :ahhh

No falling out that I know of, Fuzz. I had posted earlier about  the lack of serious use of the Buck 110 in this challenge. There HAS been serious use, but few and far between. A lot of shoe laces and potatoe chip bags and packages. Not a lot of meat and such, so there was some serious smurf.

Thanks Zoid

Sorry all; temporary setback means I need to catch up a little when I get out of hospital.
I had a high speed crash on my dirtbike on Saturday morning and the end result is a broken arm and wrist.
All patched up and all other bits ok and working. That’s the bike, I’m also ok.
Should be home tomorrow as the upgraded titanium parts are in and sewn up already.

Doing my best Sallah from Raiders of the Lost Ark impersonation...Holy smokes my friend!  I am so pleased you are not dead!

And of course, if your Paper stone 110 needs a safe place to be, feel free to send it along to me.

Seriously though. Looks like it hurt. Hope you get better soon

Day 22:

I'm headed out for a week-long road trip through the American West. I may have some difficulty posting pictures....or posting at all. I'll be carrying the 110 with me though. I've added a small friend for odd jobs as needed: an Urban Pioneer. I'll continue to use the 110 as my primary knife. And I'll be sure to discuss any uses the UP gets, instead of the 110. If I can't post on any one day, I'll be sure to post a photo from that day, later, when I can.

Y'awl, stay safe.

(Image removed from quote.)

Safe travels, Nix

Almost forgot:
(Image removed from quote.)

A brown/redish hue where the leather sheath rubs my clothes.

I wonder if other parts will turn like that

It does look better without the direct sunlight. More like a satin finish. But I needed the sun to take a focused close-up.

Hey Mech,

Yes this same thing has been happening to the leather sheath of the Rebar I got in September. Been carrying it near every day since. It is the personality the sheath will develop that makes it your own I guess. I do not know if vintage sheaths do this as easily,  as the tanning and dyes are probably different now than they were in the 60's 70's and 80's,  but I wasn't really sheath carrying then.

Yes! Thank you doctor.

You're welcome TB.

I have used it quite a bit for serious work, it's just difficult to get the pics.
When I'm covered in gunk I don't want gunk the camera, or the boss/others are around, or it's dangerous to stop and try to get a pic.

The 501 Squire is a nice size and does include a sheath.
The 55 is an exact 1/2 size duplicate of the 110, and is an easy pocket carry. The 501 is larger than the 55, maybe same thickness.

The 110 and 55 are CLIP point blades.

The 501 is a drop point. Also the 505 and 503.

At one time Buck’s Custom shop offered a Drop point option on the 110 and 112.  I have found some 112s with drop point on Amazon.
