The 110 and 55 are CLIP point blades.

The 501 is a drop point. Also the 505 and 503.

At one time Buck’s Custom shop offered a Drop point option on the 110 and 112.  I have found some 112s with drop point on Amazon.

Here is a picture of some of my Buck 110's...there are 5 drop point 110's with S30V blades in it.....3 on the right and 2 on the left.

Day 23:

Some pipe cutting today again.

Now it's at my desk while I'm cleaning up a 108mm Solo I received for my birthday.
Added the Buck Bantam to follow zoid a bit

If the 110 is the hard worker, then the 111 Classic must be the church knife. :)

Thanks TB, I was only making a silly joke really.  :salute: This thread's convinced me that I need a Buck though, but not a 110, I was thinking of getting a 501 or a 503. What ya think?
The 501 Squire is a nice size and does include a sheath.
The 55 is an exact 1/2 size duplicate of the 110, and is an easy pocket carry. The 501 is larger than the 55, maybe same thickness.

Thanks, I still can't decide between the two drop-point ones.

I know, it's the 501 and the 503 that I was talking about.  :D

But now I'm looking at the 55 in your picture...

At my job, a one-hand opening knife with a pocket clip is a must. So, those were the only two mods I did to it for the challenge.

The 110 makes a decent OHO clip knife. Well, aside from the weight. In hindsight, I may have looked for a composite handle 110 to mod, but I have adjusted to the weight(7+oz).
