Fuzzaxe Day 3

Been exceptionally busy again today and the only thing I've done with Fakeaxe is place it on top of this book. Still haven't got round to cleaning it up a bit neither...  Another hectic day forecast for tomorrow, but hopefully after that it should ease up a bit and they'll be more time for fun stuff... involving axes...

Mrs Nix didn't bat an eyelash when I pulled out Lyndax to help with a bit of lunch prep. I guess she's gotten used to you lot.

Day 3
Cutting chipboard. I tried several different techniques to get to work.

First I tried folding the sheets and pulling it through both single and multiple sheets like a knife blade. This really didn't work.

Then I tried planting the tip of the blade and pulling the sheet through...until one with a big mass of fiber in the middle that caught and tore the sheet in half perpendicular to my cut.

The final one that worked was simply to lay them flat and treat the upper point of the edge as if it were the tip of a utility knife.
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

Loving the food prep posts and other uses than chopping wood.

Day 4

Been busy today and now it's raining, so here are a couple of edge shots.

Still in better condition than Fakaxe...

Day 4

Upon closer inspection under sun light, I found a little bit of surface rust on Chip Chop, so out come the steel wool and try to take that away.  Chip chop also attended mail duty last night, which had a GEC 29 and Buck Ranger.  Thanks to Nix's encouragement, gotta find time to make good with the Ranger.

Nice you'd find a way in the end, with the thickness behind the edge, I would actually be really surprised if an axe is really good at push cutting paper.

day 4: this is a bit of a hassle to carry around but it comes in handy when you gotta slice up some ginger

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

Day 4 photo

Hoping for something more exciting to shot...busy day in town. Grocery shopping one of them. Turned out great! I found some Snap Dragon apples! I remember a someone telling me about them here. Honey Crisp has a contender! The Snap Dragon is a very good tasting apple. And crisp,
