Day 20

Used Chip Chop for the food prep, but I was hungry and didn't even remember to take photo.  Nonetheless, this is one of my favorite noodle dish from our family receipt.  Consists of minced pork, shiitake mushroom, dried scallop, green onion, parsley and deep friend onion.

Looks great!

Day 19:

Made some progress on the fit, but I'm starting to wonder if the handle is to slim for the eye anyway. But it was a bit of PIA to get the head of again so the fit lenght wise is very good :tu:(Image removed from quote.)

You don't have much to play with there but if it was very tight at that point and you struggled to get the head off i would be tempted to just go for it and give it a try, i don't have it to hand though so it's hard to say, just go with what you feel  :tu: nice wedge as long as the eye and stick a couple of cross wedges in, no gaps at the base of the head i presume? just be canny with it till you can trust it fully, nice axe btw, don't worry about cosmetics  :tu:

Blunt tools are dangerous! Sharpen all your hammers!

 that's a neat idea, a hammer that's been sharpened to an edge, hmm..we need to think of a name for this new tool though  ;)

Yeah.....you knew it was coming..... Chicken Day!

For me no challenge is complete without using the challenge tool to break down a chicken.  Lyndax had her chance today.

Day 20 photos

Well, strong winds and all that rain broke one of the branches and it made for a clean up day. Was like 10 or 12 yards long.

day 20:  anyone want to guess what these are?

Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob

I went for it and the wedge filled out the top of the eye. And it fits very good in the length of the eye, and considering how little use it will see I think it will be perfectly safe :tu:

Fuzzaxe Day 20

Not much axe stuff happening today, a little bit of pruning and that's pretty much it really... Effective pruner though.

It did very well. The branch diameter where it broke was a good 5 - 6 inches easily.  :tu:
