Ron Who - Day 2 - The Hubertus

This Solingen made folding hunter will replace my usual BuSchroder SAK during the challenge.
Today I didn´t need it (but the day isn´t over yet).

The Hubertus (model HU12.321.HH.00) doesn´t have an awl and I´m sure that´s going to cause me some trouble.
It does have a corkscrew and a bottle opener so I might drink away any painful memories of having no awl.  :D

Power went out; from 8PM yesterday to 1:50 AM this morning .Thus, I wasn't able to get my photo in. It went out somewhere close to around here, but Appalachian Power had to cut ours in order to fix the line down.   Trees are down everywhere from the thunderstorm; but luckily only a few branches in the yard.  The fields are likely a mess--I'll have to check for fallen trees later today. Thus, I'd better get the chainsaw up and running.

Day 4: Standard again. Today I've got my LT on me.

Yet the 108mm German Army Knife, which is, in my opinion, based off and an improvement on those old traditional German hunting knives--does have an awl.

:like:  That knife has been on my wish list for quite some time--except the first time I looked at getting into one I had a bad case of sticker shock.   At least Hubertus does have a four-blade "work knife" in their Professional range for about $40; except it does use "bird's eye" rivets which pop apart very easily.
