Who else is colorblind?
on: December 14, 2008, 06:37:30 AM
I didn't know i was colorblind until i went and got glasses in the 5th grade. Mom always wondered why i liked dark colors. I've always wondered what i am missing out on.  Can't see red or green, pink is grey, blue is purple, and orange is well different shades of grey.  The other day i ran right through some flashing red lights as i thought they were flashing yellow lights......oops!

One good thing though is i'm good at seeing creatures when i'm out hunting. Deer, feral hog, and turkeys stand out fairly well for me.

That'll be me.  :D

It certainly made working with electronics that little bit more difficult.  :D

I'm not but I used to work with two electricians who were.  They had slightly different problems and so used to check each others work.  The system worked fine until one of them retired.
Be excellent to each other and always know where your towel is.

Honestly officer, it was green when I went through....

I'm not color blind in any way, and my vision is 20/20, which is a significant drop from my younger days.  Another few years and my vision will deteriorate until I need glasses, but that's ok.  I've been lucky so far and I can't complain.
