Powernoodle Day 28

Properly sharpened, the Buck Ranger will glide easily through a 2" branch with little effort.  Not really.

Day 28:

A couple of hotdogs for lunch.  hard to tell here, but I've lightly scored them with the Ranger.

Scoring them helps prevent excessive curling when they cook. And they hold hot sauce better.....

Day 28. Decided I'd use my old Fieldmaster for the upcoming eponymous challenge, without being rebuilt by Vic. Scale tools and lanyard ring are missing. Can opener has weak snap. Front scale is a little loose. Scissors have a chip in them. Blades are completely dull.

I've ordered some DMT stones to hopefully get a decent edge on the blades and dress out the scissors.

A good sharpening should bring the Fieldmaster back in business in no time.  :tu:

Hope he did well - nice Ranger!  :like:
He did, somewhat!
He won his events.  His two specialties, the 200 Free and 500 Free, he wanted to set new records, he missed the 1st by .02 of a second and the second, he tied.

He will try again next week.   Yet, the records currently are his, he just wants to do better.

“Second place, the first loser.” I just do not understand swimmers.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!
