November 25 -  I used  the Yeoman combo tool and its phillips screwdriver to assemble a TV antenna this weekend. We have cut the cord and gone to over the air and streaming TV. Now we are getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Great use...one the whole family can enjoy.

Day 25, got the lot after all, Safari Hunter, nail advertising cleaner classic with no keyring, economy Camper and A Wenger Hunter, ergo Viking with special inlay.

Tools were in used condition, needed a lot of cleaning and Camper corkscrew is bent.

We had some cookie baking to do so couldn't actually get the care session ready before late evening, so the new lot probably won't get use today. I'll take Safari hunter as carry, and I'm intrigued by the Wenger's clip point, first in a SAK for me.

That's another design that could have gone with Rescue Tool great, making the lanyard seem even more boring. Then again the tool was already a massive departure in design in Vic terms, so take what we can get.

Day 25 photo

Yes, I still buy these black and white notebooks from my school days! Especially the back to school special of .59 cents!  :tu:

Nice contrast in photo

Do you have a collection of the different bottles you have sampled?

When I first got into it many years ago, I started collecting some but then realized it could get out of hand and craft beer started being much easier to find.

Day 25

Wenger Grip 76.  This tool is practically the bigger brother of pocketgrip I posted the other day, interesting fact is the handle of this oversized 120mm plier tool is not spring loaded like the smaller brother.  This is yet another interesting attempt of Wenger branching out to test the market with a plier-centric tool.

Nice Wenger.

Thanks, Antti! I had wondered!  :tu: Gath, not thought of that, I’m currently using an all red lanyard, but the yellow one could work too! Planning on using one on a future mod with some yellow scales. Exeter, nice knife! :like:

I needed to thin the edges of the quick link to get it to fit through the chain. It only took a few minutes with the file.

Day 26

Wenger Dannemann Cigar Cutter

Time have changed, partnering with cigarette or cigar company to make advertising souvenir is probably less common nowadays.   I don't smoke myself, but do find the cigar cutter on this 82mm Wenger pretty interesting.  The little brand logo is pretty intricate though.

kamakiri Day 25:

The old Woodsman 236U (no T&T) was on the candidate list and I almost brought out an advertising Huntsman LNF...but then I remembered this:

236a - BENRUS - '47

I don't think this model had a name at the time.  Might have been the predecessor to both the Woodsman and Huntsman. My understanding is that they were produced for several years in this configuration, so I'm guessing it's bespoke for Benrus. My copy has the ESSM/Inoxyd CB tang stamps and the Swiss Made opener.

Thanks again comis!  I've been liking the Wenger education that I've been getting from your posts.  :salute:

I'm trying to leave the Wiki stuff to Huntsman!  :D  Right now, I don't see how SAKwiki can be restructured to include all the various model numbers that *didn't* have names like this one and several of the custom advertising knives.  That said, I know there are other knights who have these Benrus knives...I think some of them are minty copies.  Otherwise, any of my posted pictures are fair game for use in the wiki.  :tu:

Nah, you are too kind with words!  I am sure you probably collect Wenger as I do, and I am grateful to be able to partake in this challenge, which give me a chance to play and review different pieces and re-organize them.  I think there exist only a few knife brand that is as prolific as Victorinox and Wenger over the last hundred years; I too do wish there is an efficient way to categorize all the unnamed models, but I think at the least, it is great that you are willing to share with us the photo of such models, so at least their existence are recorded somewhere. :tu:
