Discontinued SAK Challenge - November

Beautiful knife, kamakiri.

Great use, Barry.

Day 25
I know it is only a few hours since my day 24, but it is a new day and my Yeoman has seen some use cutting open a package of toilet paper and cutting some cinnamon bread.  Also, opened a beer, used the scissors to cut down a chip bag, and the magnifying glass to read an expiration date but no pictures.

Day 25

Wenger Grip 76.  This tool is practically the bigger brother of pocketgrip I posted the other day, interesting fact is the handle of this oversized 120mm plier tool is not spring loaded like the smaller brother.  This is yet another interesting attempt of Wenger branching out to test the market with a plier-centric tool.

kamakiri Day 24:

I thought this might be a good one for a low-use day:

5020 - Craftsman Apollo 11 - 20th Anniversary version

...Last of the anodized liners:

The change to non-anodized liners appears shortly after these were produced.  I won't go into detail here about the chronology, but it does help identify knives produced immediately before and after this timeframe. Minor and often overlooked details like this help me break down larger, but 'well known' date ranges.

Err...Max, I've collected a few Gerber over the years but not that well versed in collecting them.  What's special about this particular Mr. pinchy here?

It’s a gift from gerleatherberman. Gerber is poorly represented in my country and I offered to do a review (from a Leatherman fan boy) so he generously sent me a sample. This is a blunt nose 600 version 3.1. It’s my first Gerber so I look forward to putting it up against MTs I’m familiar with.

So far I’ve not pinched myself...yet.

I am sure you probably know we have a "Mr. Pinchy love bits" badge just for that, and there were only two brave souls whom have ever acquired that...that's one badge I would never attempt, at least not by choice!

Day 24
I used the Yeoman today to open up a new toothbrush head (but no pic), then open a beer.
(Image removed from quote.)
Do you have a collection of the different bottles you have sampled?

November 25 -  I used  the Yeoman combo tool and its phillips screwdriver to assemble a TV antenna this weekend. We have cut the cord and gone to over the air and streaming TV. Now we are getting ready for the Thanksgiving holiday.

Cheers!
