I'm reposting this Case Scout Trapper because I just witnessed a sale on the bay that made me chuckle.

Yea, some knives on the 'bay end up going for stupid money.  Occasionally I snag a good deal there though.

Haven't checked in for a while.  Really love the NAVY knives!
240 bucks for the Trapper.   :o

Here's my latest.  I liked the little barn in the logo on this Tractor Supply Stockman.  About once a month I stop there to get a bag of dog food, and somehow I always end up leaving with a knife as well. Next month, if it's still there I might get the Rosewood folding hunter they have in the case.  I was looking through their online catalog last night and saw they have an axe (Winkler series) that sells for $500 and they are out of stock.  That must be one heck of an axe.

They say the pen is mightier than the sword.   However... there is a dead guy here with a Bic in his hand and a Samurai walking away.

Cheers mate.   It's a British Land Transport Corp sword: https://www.michaeldlong.com/product/british-land-transport-corps-1855-pattern-short-sword-22/  Though if you think I paid that much for it you're out of your mind!  :D

I'm an auction hunter and tend to snap up decent pieces that haven't attracted enough attention for one reason or another.  I can stop at any time and definitely do not have a problem of any kind.  No siree.

We again are so much alike.  I tend to do my hunting at the flea market but when I was pursuing the bay I also snapped up some good deals on items that seemed to go unnoticed.

Are you trying to convince us or yourself?  Either way, nice knives and as long as the hobby doesn’t prevent taking care of necessities it isn’t a problem.

This is one of those moments where your significant other just gives you one of those looks of "but... why?!"   Ah well.  I'm a sucker for the amber or chestnut bone scales and a hardware store I visited today had two others to match one I had previously bought.
A Case Amber Bone Peach Seed Jigged Mini Trapper, Stockman, and Canoe.   (Those Canoes fit so perfectly in the hand).
