More great photographs!

Say, have you gotten a chance to try out the wire strippers yet? I'm interested in hearing how the new stoplock feature works.

I posted some more photos in a new thread so that it would be easier for me to keep track of the discussion.

I haven't had a chance to try out all the features but the strippers are very sharp and worked well the one time I used them.  The stoplock is a bit fiddly but it works.

it look like a lite bite  by Nite Ize, could be wrong though...makes it easier to hold it in your mouth rather than biting down on the casing.

ah beaten to it!

Still a little dark this morning on my way to work, so the picture isn't very bright. (That, and there were snow squalls in the air!) Most of the lake is still frozen over, but there is some open water here next to the river mouth.

Agreed Dunc,
& they suffer from/enjoy some serious weather.
It sure makes our usual UK weather seem a bit dull, although it's a little bit fresh at the moment  ;) more so for you on the east coast I imagine.

Yes it is blowing a bit of a hooly at the moment , plus its a spring tide with a North easterly so the flood gates are shut and we have been issued a flood warning .Hang on I will go and take a pic  :o Back in ten mins.

It was snowing here this morning, then rain around lunchtime, now sunny and +5C....  I think by suppertime we are expecting a monsoon, then some volcanic activity just before bedtime!

Go over to YouTube & see if they have a tutorial on video handling & posting.  I don't know how to do it either.

Ok I've chopped it about and made it into 4 smaller chunks , So if you play them all I started the camera just after leaving my house and walked straight to the beach , now you see how close I am  :o High tide wasnt until another hour and a half after the video was taken so the water came up a good bit higher but was too dark to video then .

Nice.  Do you have a foam windscreen for the mic on your DVR?
