Good work all on this thread! I’ve been really impressed by the uses you’ve been putting this to, and the beautiful pics you’ve been posting, so much so that in a moment of weakness I went and ordered one myself! You’re all to blame!
Day 29 - This is a special day for me. My 58th rotation around the Sun. Have a b-day pumpkin pie, but nothing in the likes of what Mom used to make. But, I wanted something different to snack on, and cake was just not sounding what I wanted. Then saw the store had some pomegranates for $1.98 so brought one home. So here's my birthday pomegranate and Spirit X bleeding the delectable fruit. And yes, I ATE THE WHOLE THING! (Image removed from quote.)
Great challenge everyone! And look what you made me do!(Image removed from quote.)(Image removed from quote.)It came in yesterday and now I have to figure out how to carry it.. Might have to modify my sheath with a small side slot or something.. How do you other do? [It's not failure if you learn something from it]
Day 14 (Image removed from quote.)
Resistance is futile You won‘t regret it, it is an awesome tool! Could have saved a lot of money, had I gotten this one first
Day 30 - Well, this was quite unexpected. Wanted some soup before bed, and everyone talks about these easy open cans negating can openers. Pffft. When the pull tab fails, who ya gonna call? Can Busters? Spirit X to the rescue! (Image removed from quote.)

A friend, Tracy Ramsey, kept telling me how good these were, although I think he carries a SwissTool. And I been pondering this Spirit X for quite a few years, and has been on my wish list. Decided to give a go a month ahead as a birthday present to myself. And figured if it was not good I could send it back to Amazon. Well, I was shocked, and took me a few days to understand how the tools are grouped: cutters one side, screw drivers on the other. Chisel & Awl on blade side, can opener on scissor side. And I am at a loss not having it on my belt, and it's so much lighter than the Charge TTi yet has way more functions. The TTi has some nice features that I wished were on a Spirit model, yet I can live without the TTi as the tools I've been wanting for years and years have been on this tool all this time! Think it was the pliers shape, yet I can pull a whisker if needed. It's not needle nose, yet those pliers don't wiggle back and forth or misaligned either. And no pocket clip for that added safety over the sheath. All in all, this Spirit X is going to be with me for a great many years. Awl I can say is... why did I wait all this time?!?
Correction made.
Day 27Used the Spirit to open a package.(Image removed from quote.)Also used it to cut some wire, so I could hang a bird feeder on a tree branch. The birds are already picking away on the goodies (Image removed from quote.)
On the heals of this correction I can thank you guys too. I just ordered my 7th Spirit...(Image removed from quote.)So many differant ones, they are addictive.
7 is a nice number!
Gotta get a Swisstool first
I wish. Bought too many knives this month and have to stop for a while.
