Good work all on this thread! I’ve been really impressed by the uses you’ve been putting this to, and the beautiful pics you’ve been posting, so much so that in a moment of weakness I went and ordered one myself! You’re all to blame!

Resistance is futile  :D You won‘t regret it, it is an awesome tool!  :tu: Could have saved a lot of money, had I gotten this one first

Day 29 - This is a special day for me. My 58th rotation around the Sun.

Have a b-day pumpkin pie, but nothing in the likes of what Mom used to make. But, I wanted something different to snack on, and cake was just not sounding what I wanted. Then saw the store had some pomegranates for $1.98 so brought one home. So here's my birthday pomegranate and Spirit X bleeding the delectable fruit. And yes, I ATE THE WHOLE THING! :D

They are good!  :tu:

Day 30 - Well, this was quite unexpected. Wanted some soup before bed, and everyone talks about these easy open cans negating can openers. Pffft. When the pull tab fails, who ya gonna call? Can Busters? Spirit X to the rescue! :D

Resistance is futile  :D You won‘t regret it, it is an awesome tool!  :tu: Could have saved a lot of money, had I gotten this one first

A friend, Tracy Ramsey, kept telling me how good these were, although I think he carries a SwissTool. And I been pondering this Spirit X for quite a few years, and has been on my wish list. Decided to give a go a month ahead as a birthday present to myself. And figured if it was not good I could send it back to Amazon.

Well, I was shocked, and took me a few days to understand how the tools are grouped: cutters one side, screw drivers on the other. Chisel & Awl on blade side, can opener on scissor side. And I am at a loss not having it on my belt, and it's so much lighter than the Charge TTi yet has way more functions.

The TTi has some nice features that I wished were on a Spirit model, yet I can live without the TTi as the tools I've been wanting for years and years have been on this tool all this time! :ahhh Think it was the pliers shape, yet I can pull a whisker if needed. It's not needle nose, yet those pliers don't wiggle back and forth or misaligned either. And no pocket clip for that added safety over the sheath.

All in all, this Spirit X is going to be with me for a great many years. :D  Awl I can say is... why did I wait all this time?!?

Day 27

Used the Spirit to open a package.

Also used it to cut some wire, so I could hang a bird feeder on a tree branch. The birds are already picking away on the goodies  :D

  Day 31 ... or Day 1 of Month 2 ...

  Spirit of the Persimmon  :D

  Home ... was 23° F and quite a brisk cold. /brr

:viking:  Now, I wonder, is there a Spirit X award? Doesn't matter, I found the near perfect multitool. Now, could say I was tempted to get a Swiss Tool X, merely for the ruler, but I think not. I'm happy with the Spirit of this Multitool. :D  :2tu:

:pok:  Have a "Victorinox Swiss Army Knife Camping & Outdoor Survival Guide: 101 Tips, Tricks & Uses" book coming in, and might start a challenge on that for next month or next spring, though I'm more in a rural/suburb area and not actually in the mountains where I would like to be. Still... is an idea was pondering. And the book is around $10 on Amazon.
