Great usages  :like:
Hot dogs are a little underrated as another food item other than a hot dog. I have used hot dogs with tamales, throw them together and cut into nice sizes and dig in.

Day 28 - Government laptop had issues with its SIM card again. Removed the SIM card with long screwdriver, rubbed the SIM card on clean cotton material, and inserted it back in its slot. Rebooted and had a cellular signal again. Swear these HP Resolves are littered with issues - power ports mostly.

Got called into work today. Was a zoo, but I survived. :D A bottom shelf price sticker display had a plastic bracket that broke loose. Used the pliers to repair its positioning and sticking it back into a shelf hole.

Past that was just another day. Woke up early, had to get a letter off to FedEx, then off to work. Working in retail merchandising sure has changed my perceptions on many things.  :-\

Folding Knives with wood scales and leather sheaths with their initials. Made a couple kitchen knives with wood scales and Japanese forged steel. And the farmer in the family gets a fixed blade

Wished I knew how to make & design custom sheaths. Would make one to hold the Spirit X with and to securely hold a Fenix E12 light beside it.

Wanted to make a similar one with the Charge TTi, yet needed a more public-friendly multitool for the most part. In any case, have a Wave in the car toolbox. Need to find me a more secure and heavy-duty toolbox, metal preferably. Bought a plastic ammo box from Harbor Freight and it's already warping from tool weight.Guess .50 caliber is the biggest metal ammo canister available.

If you want a leather sheath I could make you one. My skills are not perfect, but the sheaths work pretty well. You can find some of mine in the sheath sub forum.
I don‘t have a fenix E12, so I would need some measurements for that.

Day 25

We visited a friend today for Thanksgiving, and helped her install two new shelves in her garage. The Spirit assisted with opening the boxes, cutting straps and aligning mounting brackets. Did not take pictures of that though, she might have thought that would be weird

On the way home we stopped to grab a DVD of Season 12 of Big Ban Theory. Used the awl to remove the wrapping foil.

Between this bug/cold and two jobs I did not have it in me to cook this year. So settled for a Hormel Compleats Turkey & Stuffing dinner. Actually had two of them, a few hours apart. They do taste perty good, and only need to cook for 1 minute. Tempted to brave Walmart for a pumpkin pie, but that place is probably nuts with their Black Friday sales.

I definitely understand,   I worked Supermarket retail for 15 years.  I've been out of it now for 12 and have just begun to enjoy the Holidays again.  Bless you for the unappreciated services you provide.

Thanks :)  :tu: - It is a nearly thankless job. - Makes ya feel good when someone compliments on your work, and I try to go out of my way to compliment others. Never would of thought I'd end up as a merchandiser. :ahhh

Day 26

Not too much use today. We went for a short hike this morning and the Spirit came along again. Only used it to cut a thread and switch out my tripods mounting bracket.
Here is a Stormtrooper with the Spirit  :D

Day 29 - This is a special day for me. My 58th rotation around the Sun.

Have a b-day pumpkin pie, but nothing in the likes of what Mom used to make. But, I wanted something different to snack on, and cake was just not sounding what I wanted. Then saw the store had some pomegranates for $1.98 so brought one home. So here's my birthday pomegranate and Spirit X bleeding the delectable fruit. And yes, I ATE THE WHOLE THING! :D

Been there before.  I actually have couple in my pantry.

Happy Birthday.  I hope it was a good one.

I do understand the sentiment of “nothing in the likes of what Mom used to make”.  I am fortunate that my Mom is still alive.  Every time I go to visit, I look forward to eating her cooking.  Sometimes we will have a baking day, to allow us to talk while making muffins and cookies.

I don‘t have one yet, but I think a small added holder to your existing sheath maybe? Or do you carry a pouch orvsomething alike as part of your EDC?
