Day 30:

That's a wrap!

Another fun challenge with the 110. While I didn't do quite as much this challenge as I have in others, I still enjoyed carrying the 110 on a daily basis. I think that it would make an outstanding combination paired with a small SAK, maybe an 84mm SAK. Outside a challenge, it's common for me to pair a 110 with a Classic or, more recently, an Executive, but I slightly larger SAK might also make for a good pairing. Perhaps one with a corkscrew......  :D

Day 30

Huge thank you to Nix, Comis, and everyone else who participated!  It was fun!

Day 30 of the challenge, day xx of social distancing.  I wonder how many packing peanuts the 110 can pick up at once...

Blimey...
Uhm...

I love them all for varying reasons.
Be it for the materials used, locking mechanism, nostalgia...

So basically my fav would be a folding knife with an around 8cm long laminated blade, scandi shape/grind, burl handles with Ti bolsters, Ti deep carry pocket clip and an Axis lock :D
Since that combines the things I love about the ones I have. :dd:

Doesn't sound cheap though...
How about you?

For me, quality is first factor, value is second, and third if a locking style, I prefer back locks over liner or frame locks. (More because I am primarily left handed)

Buck styles satisfy all 3 factors on majority of their folders.

Blade length I prefer is usually 3 inches for EDC, and up to 4.5 inches for outdoor camping and hunting needs.

Simpler the better.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

guys congrats. it was very fun and interesting to follow this challenge that proves the old workhorse design still has a lot of kick left in it
Solving problems you didn't know you had in the most obscure way possible

"And now, it's time to hand this over to our tame race axe driver. Some say, he can live in the forest for six months at a time without food, and he knows of a secret tribe of only women where he is their God. All we know is, he's call the Styx!" - TazzieRob
