Happy Halloween!. Used the caplifter on mine to replace a registration plate on our pickup truck.

I did not participate in this challenge, as I have only one old cross...

But today, I am making an offer on a Pioneer and Farmer, waiting for the seller to accept.

Nice one Max!   Good luck on your offer.

For the last day of the challenge I’m paying bills and opening a weeks worth of mail.  Ho-hum.

Day 31: This DAK was in my pocket before this challenge began, so I thought it would be fitting to carry it again before I stow all the Alox away in favor of a Waiter for November’s minimalist challenge. I’m heading outside to try my hand at cutting some granite. I don’t think this knife is up for *that* task, but I have no doubt it will come in handy for something.

:like:  It’s up for a lot, but I agree granite would be punching way above its weight!

It fought a good fight, but I had to break out the heavy artillery.

How hard are the DAKs to find on this side of the Pond?

Not difficult. That particular knife actually came from Denmark, but they are listed on eBay fairly frequently.

Usually, whoever starts the Challenge submits a request to a Mod to have Whoey design a badge.  The requirement is usually for a 10 participant minimum.  I know it doesn't cover everyone, but there is a Military badge that would cover the Soldiers in this Challenge.  Either way, it takes a little bit.

I don't believe we had 10 participants so we might not get a new badge?  That's a bummer.

I didn’t know that either, and given I used Old Crosses not Soldiers (a badge already have) I’ll go for a minimum badge as my OCs only have 1 or 2 layers and drop out of the minimum challenge already running for Nov which has 30+ doing it. Next time we do an OC challenge let’s get 11 or more doing it - nonetheless G-Dizzle this was fun and I look forward to doing it again next time! :tu:

My apologies everyone, I was not aware of the badge rule for the 30 day challenges. I also was not aware that we should post a day 31, so here is my day 31 pic:

Should I message and see if they will make an exception for us? What is the consensus?

I think you're good as far as days go G.  It's only a 30 day Challenge, so I think everyone is covered there.  I kicked a message to a Mod to see about a badge.  I don't mean to step on your toes G Diz. I didn't know if you had put in a request and just wanted to help.  I've been there...

Nothing firm yet, but I don't think it should be a problem.  We should have an answer soon.  I'll let everyone know asap.
