My second Mini Flagship came. Terrible. The scissors barely cut paper. Do not buy this.
It also came with a shark opt. Cord cutter, which is actually sharp, bottle opener, and 4mm hex wrench. Who gives a smurf? Put the production cost of these towards the Mini.  :rant:

Merit Badges Must post a step by step pictorial of a knife or MT Mod, done by you that includes changing the main chassis of the tool in a significant way. By machining, welding or cutting original design to accept new tool loads. Requests will be reviewed.

Just received my Nextool mini flagship, I hope it will wait a bit before breaking. It's a shame because this little tool gets a lot of things right... besides build quality  :facepalm:

If that little tang is breaking it's likely the metal was over-hardened. If you heat it up with a propane torch until it's glowing nice and orange, then let it air-cool, this will soften the steel and make it more ductile, which should prevent it from breaking again.

I was thinking about that Wave knock-off, but no seller had reasonably quick and cheap shipping. It was either waiting two months with no tracking, or paying twice what the tool costs for DHL shipping.


      I got the one you call a Wave knock off at Amazon a month or so ago and it is a real nice tool. It is also, NOT a Wave knock off, although there are some similarities.
