Can you identify mini multi-tool
on: September 18, 2020, 02:11:41 PM
A pal gave me this a few days ago. Any ideas as to the maker?

The "Eurohike" refers to a company which is part of the Blacks group. My pal can't remember how long he has had it. But Eurohike only started in the 80's.

I intially thought it was a cheap Chinese item. But the quality seems to be very good, but no makers markings. It is around 64mm [just over 2 and a half inches] closed

Regards..Keith

That's a Chinese knock-off of the Leatherman Juice.

Yeah, I could not find anything on the interwebs, but it definitely has a Juice flavor to it.

Those Juice knock-offs seem to come in two different sizes, maxi (87mm long) and mini (66mm long), with various (and no-) brands, and some with promotional logos.  "Protocol" was a common brand for the maxi version.

I've seen them under the name Ruiss or something like that. It is a Chinese manufacturer I've forgotten the name of - somewhere down south in China. Pretty decent little tools actually.

Edit: I believe the manufacturer is Henstrong - they make lots of multitools. (These would be some of their better ones).
