Day 8

Used the scissors to cut the tags of some new pants

Blade got used to cut some sausages to share with the dogs.

I disassembled a bench i had built years ago for our backyard. It wasn't in the best condition anymore and we won't take it along on the move. Used a ratchet though, way too many screws for a MT. Couldn't get one screw out though, so the saw made quick work of that board.

Day 8
The Fx helped oped a pouch of Fisher’s Sunday food.

It also helped open a packet of Dirty Chai then I stirred it with the knife blade.

Day 9.

Usual nut cracking duty.
Afterwards I made a necklace with wooden beads Ive bought some time ago.
A few of the beads needed some drilling, paint was in the holes, so awl to the rescue. After one or two beads done my daughter (3,5yo) wanted to do the rest.  :climber: :gimme:

Day 9.
I had to remove the FPR vacuum hose to check and make sure the diaphragm was OK. The bottle opener made easy work of that.
Front door kept hanging up. The weather stripping bracket screw was loose. Can opener helped with that!

The steel was a little loose so I ran two pieces of leather down so it’s snug now, but I tried it out and I must say it fits nice, and it definitely DONT MOVE! only thing that is a little irritating is when taking the knife out that flaps a little long and is kinda high when you open it, other then that it fits nice, I sat in a chair and it didn’t press funky on the backrest bars, must say very comfy!

Day  9
Normal boring stuff? Sure did!

I recently inherited a never-used Thermos brand...well...thermos. It uses a neat replaceable o-ring to spring-load the lid, but it tends to pop out of place. I cut off the end of a gel pen refill with the knife and crammed it in there with the screwdriver to keep the o-ring pinned in.

I like this mechanism. It's delightfully user-serviceable.

End: Day 9
