Despite the small mark, it is a nice job.
Kingfisher feather? Fantastic find - never seen one myself, nice find!
Indeed. I collect feathers in an album. The feather Ive found really is a kingfisher feather, belongs to its tail. See pic in link below. http://media.featherbase.info/images/images2/eisvogel02-2.jpg
Day 7(Image removed from quote.)
Day 7.Washing machine repair day.Doorseal was damaged, so I ordered a new one, arrived yesterday.Needed some other tools, FX was a helper but couldnt do the job alone. (aka Torx screws and pliers) Remove upper cover, remove control panel, remove spring loaded wire that holds the seal to the front cover, remove front cover, disconnect seal from detergent compartment, remove another spring, remove seal. And then everything in the reverse order again. Yay.Machine is up to go and the Mrs. is happy.
Better repair than throwing it away.
Yep, and way cheaper than calling in the repair service. Seal cost me 30€ and an hour of time, otherwise it would have been three digits. Some parts are easy to repair if you have basic tools and some time. There are plenty of repair videos on youtube and spare parts stores all over the web.Machine is 8 years old, hope will serve some more.
Day 7When I got back from my early morning ride (wow it was cold - should have put overshoes on still, at least it was dry!) I was surprised to see an Amazon package on the doorstep - I do feel sorry for the couriers being expected to work on a Sunday, I’d have been quite content to wait till a weekday for delivery especially as I always tick the free delivery option. FX main blade made short work of the packaging (I know there’s a tab, but that wouldn’t provide work for a handy tool would it?!).
Are those pieces of dried banana, or some kind of candy?(There is no wrong answer; I'm just curious.)
