Day 4

Opened some Mails in the office with my FX.
Yes, most days of the week my FX is an office-FX. But the weekend will be more interesting for it.

Jothra - that was a task and a half! Bet it was worth it in the end, admiring your work with an FX opened brew in hand! Nice find, Echotech!  :tu: Great work everyone!

Day 4

I noticed that the outside sensor for my Oregon weather thingy was showing low batteries again - swear it wasn’t that long ago since I last changed them! Anyhow, used the awl to press the reset buttons on the unit and the outdoor sensor - surprisingly it worked! Did think I was going to have to get a mini-screwdriver from a corkscrew bearing SAK, the usual tool of choice for this job.

I just look out of the window... :dunno:

However, I do sometimes revert to "Stone of Truth"

TBH though, we don't have the extremes of weather that you guys do

SurgeUK- very funny - those stones are great! I mainly use it for the temperature which my eyesight definitely can’t discern! Nothing worse than setting out on the bike with inadequate clothing first thing of a morning, and the temp has been up and down like a fiddler’s elbow of late!

Day 4.
Tightened up some cabinet know screws. Besides dedicated work tools, it really only gets use at home. If this was a swisstool spirit challenge I'd be doing better!

Day 4

Not much use today. Only used the blade to help clean the gaps in the base boards. Picture of the FX in my toolbelt.

Time to open some more dog food

Did miss the SAK tweezers today when I got some prickers in my hand, but fortunately I normally carry a separate set of tweezers.

Day 4

Most of the cans around here don't have pull tabs, but sometimes they do. Every once in awhile, pull-tabs do their best to keep me away from my dinner.

You had one job, pull tab. ONE JOB.

It was open enough that I could pry it the rest of the way with the bottle opener.

End: Day 4

I hate pull tabs.  Despite the supposed convenience factor, they seem to not want to work right too often.  I’ve also managed to cut myself using them, whereas I’ve never cut my self using a can opener, even a P38.

Most of my cans are soups or Pacific salmon, and those don't generally get the pull-tab treatment. I don't know what your game is, Chef Boyardee, but I'ma eat that ravioli if it's the last thing I do!

Great to see cats and dogs JR and Echotech - definitely better than raining cats and dogs! I’ll get my coat.....

Day 5

Amazon book delivery this morning, which I mistakenly pulled the rip tab on  missed opportunity for FX action, but thankfully the book was covered in cellophane so the scissors saw some action after all!

DAY 5 :

Today, I didn't get the chance to use my FX.
It was having a terrace party with its twin brother VSAKCS 2020 Special FX / Harvester X & its friend SuperTimer. I didn't want to bother & interrupt the party. :P

I actually did use it for opening a beer but forgot about the pic.  :tu: :drink:
So here are 2 great pics...

Day 5.

Been working from home again, only minor food prep jobs, opened lemonade bottles this evening.
Notice the difference in weight compared to Huntsman when in sweatpants on my off days.
