Don't forget the Batman challenge. :pok: :pok: I'm doing both.  I'm already carrying a ridiculous number of pouches attached to my bat belt including a 111 SAK.  We're only allowed one badge even if we do both challenges, but what a way to start the new year! :woohoo:

I've been using 111mm a lot lately, since it's winter, and when I'm wearing gloves, I have to have knives and tools that are able to be opened when wearing them. Which means most SAKs except OH models, as well as most multi-blade slipjoints are out. So, I've started a day early.

Day 1. I used my semi-custom Alpineer (decided to see how these were without the lock--and the spring tension is enough) to open my medicine.

Wouldn’t be right if I didn’t start with a Coco gif or two so out on this mornings walk with the adventurer

Captioned - What only 2 layers to start, weak!

I’m going back to my stick in that case

Day 1

Can’t start the New Year without a calendar, so the Outrider’s can opener helped cut off the plastic and then the awl helped punch a hole in a piece of cardboard that I use to prevent the corners from rolling

The can opener also helped cut the plastic off the top of the Champagne bottle just prior to midnight, so had champagne for the New Year’s toast.

Day 01
The Outrider was used to cut up some smoked brisket for fajitas with roasted garlic and poblano peppers, which were served with a mess of Hoppin' Jon.  Having gold and green food on New Year's day (the Hoppin' Jon) is traditional for good luck and good fortune in the new year.

Lemon water?  I’m guessing based on your mention of it in the weight-loss challenge

Day  1. Happy New Year everyone !

My RAF Hunter got into a bit of root vegetable, mushroom and steak chopping to prepare a decent winter stew. Downed aircrew wouldn't have to worry about catering with this in their emergency kit.
EDIT. The peeler is a Wenger by the way. The Hunter doesn't include one I've noticed.

Happy New Year y’all!

Starting this with the Cheese Master.
Posing on GMT400 tailgate.

The truck has not been run, so you can tell that what little snow we’ve had is melting. Forecast speaks of colder front coming. I’ll have to go and fill the tanks of diesel powered Fiat and Renault today, I might still have summer/mid-term diesel in them
