Separate note, can we try and keep the gifs more PC please guys? I look at the forum in front of people a lot and sometimes it's my young nieces and nephews (in the middle of converting them, one SAK Classic at a time..)

You know we are powerless to resist pleas to recruit more SAK knights!

Poker Day 21 (bonus action shot):

The newly acquired Farmer X was used to help in prepping some of my famous Hot Dog Tacos. The farmer scored the hot dogs before they went on the grill and liberated a block of pepper-jack cheese from its plastic encasement.

@Alan.K

Card sharp friends had once warned me about two types of players, loose aggressive or lucky foolish.  Both dangerous and unpredictable, and these players always are forces to be reckoned with.  I have no idea which type you are, but man, that's

So, so, so close! :o   I dealt the 2, 3 and 5, and I froze...almost forget to breath.

Then came the final Ace, a daring attempt but still landed your hand amongst the stars. :tu:

The Pair of Aces with heart and spade will now grant you the access to a fixie and pliers based MT till the end of challenge, feel free to choose a new MT for this lag of challenge if you desire so.

That Ace of Spades was exactly what I was looking for! I really wanted to carry a fixie again. :D

Two cards swapped, and we have a King and a 4 as replacements.  No change for the gear selection, but please do feel free to rotate to new gears if it is desirable.

Three of a kind is till the leading hand! :tu:

Thanks comis, happy with that  :tu:

Arrrrgh... I mean .. congratulations Borgy  :tu:

Thanks Stitch, thanks Nix  :tu:

Changing over, Buck 101, Wenger and Surge, the Buck and Wenger get carried frequently but the Surge i think has 7 days on it, i didn't really bond with it and i always tended to carry the Sideclip instead so the Surge gets another 7 days, hopefully in that time it will loosen off a bit, it's quite a tight one yet :tu:

Day 21
Since my new hand allows a SAK and a MT I've happily chosen the Wave and Alox MiniChamp combo for the last week.

No uses came up but I had them out on a hike today.

Matt Junior asked if I could post a picture of his Leap as well, hope you guys don't mind  :hatsoff:

Glad to see there's some sunlight there, been raining here for days

Poker Fuzzy Bits Day: 21

Right, I'm going to cheat a bit - nobody tell the stiffs (that's Commie and Nix btw), alright... Keep shtoom!  :tu:

I'm now allowed one Multi and one SAK, but I'm going to surreptitiously add this little adapter, which you know, was built for the Sideclip anyway... so what the smurf.  :2tu:

Now, keep quite, it's our little secret... okay?

Actually, as usual, I exaggerate. It's the Standard Tool Adapter compatible with the PST, PST2 and Supertool, but most satisfyingly the Sideclip because of how it mates with the dedicated cutout on the handle.  :tu:

I’d love to see a clearer pick of your Vermin. I’ve not seen one before.
Here you go.

Here is one next to a 91mm SAK so you can gat a feel for the size

Thanks for sharing.

I had just moved to San Diego in 2003 when a wild fire, a remember it being one of the most scary situations in my life.  I wasn’t around long enough to see the recovery, so your description and photos are interesting.

Typing this reminded me of how trying summer and fall of 2003 was for me.  In July, I had just flown back to the US from 6 months deployed on a ship that I was supposed to have transferred off of in December of 2002.  Shortly after arriving back in the US, I was in a motorcycle accident where I was fortunate not to mess myself up too bad but still sustained some injuries.  About a month later, I was living in a hotel in Virginia when a hurricane hit, taking out the electrical power and blocking most roads for over a week.   Shortly after that I arrived in San Diego.  I had just moved into an apartment when I had to evacuate it and get underway, not knowing the status of my apartment or stuff, due to wildfires.  I faired better than many through all of that but it was definitely a stressful 4 months.

Gosh Sos, that sounds a very tough time  :o
One thing after another like that must have been extremely stressful, particularly after your very long deployment when I'm sure you were hoping to get some peace and rest

Since I kept the pair of 10s, I will stick to the Wave and SwissBuck.  For the pair of 9s, I’ll add a ZT0562Ti that goes so well with the Wave and a Southern Grind Vermin.

Definitely a capable trio.  I never really bonded with the Surge either.  It just feels too heavy to carry.  Good of you to give it another week to grow on you.

Very nice combo.  I think the adapter qualifies considering like you said it was built for the tool.

Poker Day 21:
New hand, new carries.

With a Queen of Hearts and Diamonds, I'm authorized a SAK and a Multitool. I'm going to overlap a tiny bit with the FX challenge starting in March, so I figured a FX was a good bet. And, for me multitool, I'm going with a LM Skeletool.

With this combo, I've got blades, scissors, pliers, openers, drivers, and that fabulous in-line awl. This seems like a very handy combo for the next week.  :tu:
(Image removed from quote.)

Great combo Nix  :like: :multi: :climber:
They work great together  :tu:

Day 21
Since my new hand allows a SAK and a MT I've happily chosen the Wave and Alox MiniChamp combo for the last week.

Should compliment each other very nicely McS  :like:
I'm enjoying having the Wave as my tool this week, haven't used it much recently
