Hairy Bikers roasted vegetables (chick peas, halloumi and tomatoes to be added shortly) for dinner Barry. That's what it's come to here. No spam, well not today anyway ...

Day 28/60 and some veg and herb cutting today with the main blade.

Day 28/60
The battery of my trusty bike computer doesn't hold much of a charge anymore. So I went to see if I could replace the battery. To my surprise it appears rather simple  :tu:

The magnifier of my Swiss Champ was used to identify the correct bit and the writing on the rechargeable battery. The rest was up to the Cybertool.

Day 28

Used the small blade to open some packages for the wife. The awl and the large flat driver teamed up to replace a flint in the old fusil. Also used the large driver to disassemble for cleaning. She's all ready for some hunting next month.

I don't like to confess my crimes in public, but I have a flinter that I've never shot. Beautiful stock, Siler lock, and an octagonal barrel. It's been languishing in my basement for.....10 years now.

A few uses today, not awl were documented. C'est la guerre.

Making hummus!

Later, opening a drain in the garage.

Other uses today: cleaning up garlic, snipping lettuce, opening a bag of rice.

There's a way to solve that problem!
But use extreme caution, flintlocks are possibly more addictive than Saks.

I bet that sharpens your fieldcraft. Always liked the idea of a flintlock but never dabbled  :like:
