Day 29 of 60:

The Swiss Champ got out for a hike. Really lovely weather, despite a wee bit of 'haze' in the air.

No uses, but made for a nice trail companion.

They're going to be recycled, right?

I don't know how things are there, but around here empty brass is worth keeping track of!

Yup. I don't reload but I do save my brass and pass it on to friends who do.
So much easier with moon clipped wheel guns than with a bottom feeder.

Reloading .38 spl. can yield cost savings, especially when boosted to .357 mag levels, thus making major PF.
(I'm not sure the math works for 9 mm. in normal times. Of course a good reloader with a proper recipe makes ammo that outperforms factory no matter what the calibre).

Also these days, loose brass outside range can easily lead into all sorts of trouble. Hence, I was not that happy to find that I've left those two laying around

I agree, I hate picking up brass scattered on the ground. Revolvers solve that issue for sure.
I still have to search around for the levergun stuff, but it's a bit larger. Still always seems like the last empty takes forever to find.

Day 30 of 60:

So here we are at the half-way mark and I'm still enjoying the Swiss Champ. 99% of the time I've been carrying it in my pocket, suspended from a belt dangler. It has spent a small amount of time in a belt pouch. At this point, I'm just used to it being in my pocket.

Today I took the recyclables to the collection center. The fish scaler really comes in handy for breaking down boxes. The teeth rip through tape and cardboard pretty easily. Tape residue ends up on the scaler, not a blade.

In addition, the scaler made for a nice 'saw' to cut up some big chunky styrofoam packing material. ( Why are we still using styrofoam?  )

Not super precise, but quick and handy.

Another day where the S'champ proves to be a happy companion. Oh, the tape residue cleaned right off with a few drops of Ballistol.   :)
