I’d like to see more pics of that add-on tool!

Let's get a closer look at that cool mod!   :pok:

I posted a thread about it when I first made it.  I just looked it up.  Apparently it was my first post.  Doesn't feel like 5 years ago.  :o

https://forum.multitool.org/index.php/topic,72258.msg1487695.html#msg1487695

There are some closer pictures on there.  I remember thinking that it was not going to be very useful.  It turned out much better than I expected.

I remember seeing that thread now, K_G. It was not relevant at that time for me since I did not own a Mini, but it is now. Thanks for the link

Day 9

I missed out on opening a can this weekend. My wife did not want the Mini near her cans of beef consumme  :dunno:. So, I had to think of some other way to test the can opener:

That is an old can of PVC glue. The Mini did not have much trouble cutting the lid. I have used better can openers, but the Mini will get the job done.

And that is good, because I have had reason in the past to cut open a can of PVC glue (to get access to the last bit of glue).

I am happy to report that the Mini's blade is suitable for electrical work when you leave your work knife on the van and you are on a 12' ladder   :D

Hello day 9.
Project complete. Over 1100 blocks . Itstands about 250mm / 10 inches tall.
I have made several Nanoblock models and never had an issue with missing bits. I have several left over bits as well as they always give extra.

Semper Sitienti !!

Day 10

February 10

Been working on the roof deck most of the morning so not much use for the Mini there. A pack of medicine arrived for our kids so the Mini helped in unpacking.

:twak: :twak: for each of you  :D It is actually a level I ordered for one of the guys I work with ::) I ordered this level in 2006 for him and he has used it quite a bit over the years :D

I have several of my own, as I collect and use these type levels along with MTs ;) They are Crick Levels but I also collect the Smith branded ones as well :tu:

It's funny - when wooden levels were common, I didn't think much of them.  Now that I almost never see any around, I think they're very cool.

Wooden levels are still very common in the masonry industry  some carry Stabila or Stabila type levels but most masons still have a wood level :hatsoff: I also will refurbish Crick or Smith levels, to a point, for others as well :tu: I usually clean them up and change the glass in them and oil the wood (which will make them look way newer and much more usable because of the glass change  :woohoo: ) hard to see a level vial when there are lots of scratches and mortar all over it  :D

Cool!

My grandfather (on my mom's side) had one (he installed glass and mirrors), but I have no idea where it is now.
