I ran errands today, so not a lot of action for Mr :ahhh Mini :ahhh ... I used the blade a couple of times and I used the flathead swap some keys around on my keyring.

Day 5

Almost sliced a small cut in my finger when I discovered a sharp metal bur on the under side of my door knob.  My leatherman MINI made quick work of it.

All safe now :D

Day 6

February 6

Very busy day today - celebrating the birthday of my youngest. He’s turning 13 today. The Mini was on kitchen duty being the one used to undo knots in plastic bags and recycle bags used in food delivery.

Quick thoughts on it: the plier head is perfect in getting a good grip on small knots. Plus I’m not worried that it’ll break or something like that. I just have to take note that deployment is a bit slower because I have to completely deploy the handles to get a good working grip on the pliers. (Yeah, the picture shows it folded, but it’s just a glamour shot).

No actual pics due to the hustle and bustle but you get the idea.

Yeah, deployment is definitely slower. But the compact size is a good trade-off in my opinion.

Day 7

February 7

I was about to say that I didn’t find use for the Mini today but I remembered that I used the file of the Mini on my thumb’s fingernail to file down an edge that was catching on fabric. Nope, no pic of that unfortunately.

What I do have is a pic of the Mini along side a 58mm SAK.  The Mini is probably about 68mm so this makes a very compact pairing. I’m not sue if anyone else out there can back this much plier in this small a package.
