Day 8: The last picture I'll have with the DT.  We took a bike ride together.  I was at my son's Scout Meeting when a friend of his was telling his mother that he had lost his SAK.  I gave him mine.  I'll be finishing the challenge out with an old pre hook Explorer.

I definitely could get used to EDC an Explorer.  I picked this up for USD $5 a couple of years ago in hopes of having it modified into a Woodsman.  It carries nicely.  It's well worn but tight, and has that wonderful old feel that vintage Vic's have.

Day 15? (I had 2 days 12s, and no label at all yesterday)

No adventures for the Hunstman today, so here's a pocket dump. Huntsman, wallet, keys (with Executive and I3E EOS) and handkerchief.

I'm enjoying the Explorer, but I have to ask: do you not miss the saw?  I haven't had a need for the saw so far during this challenge....but I am cognizant of its absence. Yeah?

DAY 08

Today my Huntsman helped me cube more cheese for work and slice my muffin with that large blade. I used that saw again for scratching my back in that hard to reach spot. The tweezers I used to pull up the wick on my lighter.

When you have a need it is nice to have options in your pocket.

In a four layer I carry an Explorer. I have to say though I like this saw on the Huntsman. I haven't even missed the mag glass. But I have missed that inline Philips.

It is fun carrying something you don't generally carry.

July should be a challenge with just a Spartan. Time will tell.

I do buddy!  Even when I don't use it for long periods of time, I like having it with me.  The Woodsman is the best of both worlds but tough to find.  I'm thinking about picking up another Marlboro Outdoorsman.  It's a Woodsman that includes a scaler...not a bad thing to have at tea time :)

Powernoodle Day 9

I used the Explorer Plus this morning to open some Shokz bone conduction headphones.  I use them all day, every day.  The copper Zippo makes a fine companion and fidget toy.

Yeah, I like the Boba Fett look on my toys.  The Streamlight has been very reliable, and has a firm clicky that does not activate in my pocket.

Day 9:

I also like the Boba Fett look. This FourSevens version of the double AAA light seems to have worn very little. It was predominantly kept in a briefcase case for several years, however. The tape is added to improve grip. I really like this light. Metal tail-switch cap will never wear our. Light weight. Good light output. But....slick surface. So, tape for grip. And...that raised tail switched can be activated in the pocket..... So...a nearly great light.
