In another thread, I shared some pictures of a BO Surge I was modifying. I asked my friend what he would like to have in a MT, and I was using that information to create a MT for him (without his knowledge). I am done with the project.








Outer tools:
Surge scissors
Saw and PE blade from a Chinese MT
Gerber Center Drive bit driver

Inner tools:
Can opener/bottle opener, awl, and large flat driver/prybar from Leatherman MTs
Surge small flat driver
Prybar from a Gerber Center Drive

Extra:
Victorinox tweezers

Mods:
Cut Gerber bit driver so that it would lock up
Cut frame to make room for Gerber bit driver
Added metal to the Gerber prybar so that it locks up
Cut a groove in one of the thin bolsters(?) to allow the tweezers to slide into the frame
Used stainless steel blackener to darken the MT (to make it look newer to him]
Copper accents

He also gets the bits and the Leatherman ratchet seen in the first picture.

I don't know how long the copper plating will last, but I wanted to make the MT look as good as possible for when I give it to him.

As you may know, the Chinese MT I used also has outside scissors, and they are pretty good. The file isn't very good, but I am sure you can make a substitute if you chose to.

For the bit driver, no material needed to be add. I just had to cut the frame and the driver to allow it to found in and fold out properly.
