Wild + Wolf (W + W) Gear.

This little journey started when I spied a new knife at the local Winners store. I grabbed two because I though the other would make a nice gift. When I got home, I realized I accidentally grabbed a knife and a golfing tool. So much for gifting the one. At first I didn't know if the symbol used was M+M for W+W. This got me to looking this up on Google and I found out that the company is called Wild + Wolf. After a little more digging, I discovered that they are behind the Gentlemen's Hardware line, and afterwards, the Pretty Useful Tools line. I gather both lineups are gender specific to some extent. The knife has a corkscrew assist lever to deploy it. I do like the wooden handles and the nice pain job.
Here is the knife and golfing tool that I found at winners. Both of these started a little journey of discovery. You can tell at this point I was unsure which way the logo was supposed to go.

After doing a bit of research, I found a W+W Hobo knife online.

Digging a little further, I found out about the Gentlemen's Hardware...and one model stuck out for me, and that was the High Spirits 10 in 1 Cocktail Multi-tool. I ordered it, and when it arrived, I was a little shocked at how large this tool is. Very unique which was why I was attracted to getting one for my collection. I have a Leatherman Surge in one of the photos to give you a size comparison. The tool comes apart much like the Hobo knives.

Looking online once again, I found that the Pretty Useful Tools line is also part of W+W. This one is geared more towards females, but then, there was a 12 in 1 Kitchen tool that reminded me very much of the Cocktail multi-tool mentioned above. In for a penny, in for a pound. This one is a little thicker than the previous one.

This was an interesting little journey of exploration. I see a few more models I would like to get in the future, but the prices are a bit too high on Amazon.ca for my taste.

In California Target stores would have a few of these in the mens wear section. Usually sold with “Gentlemen “ accessories like playing cards, handkerchiefs, dice, etc. but I’ve never seen this much variety of tools.
All gone now haven’t seen them since Covid.
Thanks for sharing.

Sorry you felt you had to move this SteveC...as it was a better fit where I placed it originally.

Sorry Chako I thought you might get a better response in the Cheap and Cheerful section which this tool seems to be. If you feel strongly about it I can move it back.

You are probably right. The main reason I did not put these in the cheap section is they are fairly expensive here in Canada.

Interseting assortment. These remind me a lot of the Gentleman's Hardware line a lot of stores sell.
Are they cheap designs--yes. Are they cheap? Good question. I bought a wrench tool on sale at JC Penney's for $10. I looked on the box, and there was a fifty dollar price tag printed on it!
