Day 9

I used the Wave+ in a live electrical panel to help grab a cable I was installing. Unfortunately, I have no action photo since photography was not allowed where I was working.

Here are the tools I carried today:

I am being to think that my family may be right about me having a tool problem

I have a few basses leftover from one of my previous obsessions.  I'll have to post some Wave pics with some of them.  My P Bass was my favorite - it had better tone than basses that cost me 3 times as much.
Glad to meet a fellow bassist here. Bass is my instrument, but I did recently put a hold on my instrument obsession. I’ve collected a number of stringed instruments that I play to some degree and it was getting to be an expensive hobby.

I used the mini bit to tighten my sunglasses.
Good use! I can see that fine bit driver being my least used tool...

Took some time to correct intonation on my bass.
Larger bits are something I'd definitely get some use out of. Must. Get. A. Set.

More of a nature shot today...
Great nature shot! :like:

Nothing special today...
But some great photos. I still can't believe those are taken with a cell phone camera!

I have no action photo since photography was not allowed where I was working.
Flash photography was prohibited while a U.S. Navy vessel was at flight quarters. I never found out why.

A great day of photos once again! :tu:

Day 11

No use today, so the Wave posed with a friend. Rain seems to be in the forecast for a brief while, making me want to postpone a planned project.

Cheers! I don't use it a lot, but when I need it it's great. It is the only thing I miss on my Surge, I might have to consider a mod sometime. Also, nice combo :tu:

Day 12

It looks like it's Bring Your Executive to Work With Your Wave Day

I love the Executive too, but recently I have been carrying an Ambassador instead.  It's the same size but a little thinner with just the tools I use most on the Executive  :tu:

Great pairs with the wave today.  :like:

The executive or ambassador are SAKs I don’t yet own.  I’m intrigued by the 74mm size as it seems the best compromise between 91 & 58 for usability and pocket-ability.

My wallet is feeling a bit light after my last 2 purchases, but I think a 74mm is next on my list.

Day 12 of 30

I have no executive, only a humble alox to pair today. I did show the kiddo some yo yo tricks this morning, which he enjoyed. He is quite happy letting it hit the floor and dragging along to “walk the dog.”

Day 12

Wednesday shift change! Winter is coming and we need to change tires on all the trucks soon. While preparing the equipment to do so, we noticed that the jack handle was missing. Nobody had anything to measure with, until I remembered the Wave hanging on my belt. I think this is the first time I've used the ruler, measurements was taken and a new handle is on the way.

Man I haven’t used the ruler in a while. I think the last time I used it was to measure a bolt head on an ikea couch arm. I was going to use a proper socket but I still can’t determine if those are 1/2in or one of those M8-1.25 deals as no socket I had really fit. I ended up just using the wave pliers.

Day 12 of 30 part II

Had an opportunity to use the Wave can opener. Can froze and popped up making the tab useless. I’m more excited about this than I should be.

I am the same way. I never get to use the can opener since everything have a tab these days. A couple of weeks ago my fiancée broke the tab off a can of cat food. I have never rushed to the rescue with my multitool faster. Man that felt good

Day 10

I used the Wave+ multiple times today, but have no pics. Instead, here is one of the Wave+ with a catepillar. I think it was trying to intimidate me so that it could steal my MT  :ahhh

Day 12

The hamburger bun wasn't quite split, so the Wave got to do some food prep. Dinner was a chicken sandwich and mashed beans.

Day 13

My favourite use of any multitool; opening another multitool. Today I used the Wave to open my new RescueTool. It might be a bit odd to say this about car accidents, but it will be interesting to test it out on the next one. All the glass breakers we use are made of carbide, including the Skeletool I normally carry in my bunker gear, while this one seems to be made of steel. :ahhh

Day 13

Just some "glamour pics" today, and they are mainly for Grand_Banana.

This is an awesome multitool next to my custom Fender P Bass.  This bass with my Ampeg SVT Classic and 8 x 10 cabinet produced an unbeatable tone 😍

This is my Wave next to my Gibson Ripper.  I used to keep this tuned down to B, E, A,D.

This is a very handy multitool next to my Tobias Growler.  I mainly used this when I wanted to use a 24-fret bass.

Somewhere in storage I also have a fretless P Bass and a Guild Starfire.

I gave up playing after I got married because gigging just ate up WAY too many hours.  I thought I would keep playing casually, just for fun, but I ended up just quitting completely.  Now my basses are just wall art - mementoes of a big time during my youth.
