Soil scoop, anvil pruners, bypass pruners, and rose snips.  All these were picked up at estate and garage sales.

They have their place.  I prefer bypass for smaller and softer plant material.

I lost that same pruiner somewhere in the woods about 4 years back.  Some of the best pruiners that I had.

I never knew rose snips existed.  I need to get me some of those.  Beats chewing through the stem to get them.  Picking out the thorns from my teeth is a pain.  :rant:

I also have quite a few weeding tools, but my missus is the gardener.  Her favourite weeding tool is a small shovel that I cut back to an almost triangular point and sharpened the edges.  She likes it because it gives her a lot more power than the smaller hand tools, and she doesn't have to bend over so much.

Full size triangle hoe an d a 15 inch Truper Classic cultivator.    I bought these at a recent estate sale. I'm excited about using the cultivator.  The length is perfect to prevent extended bending.
