Thank you gentlemen!
Seems like a Rover indeed!
Now, since it is not included in the list of models allowed for this I'll stop using it.
The question that remains is am I now disqualified/have to start over?

Don't see a lot of Rovers here for some reason.... I took it for a Rally, then I saw the flathead screw driver tip.  Sharp eyes there, Z.
Gra, I hope you have another Classic to finish the month with.  That wall board is almost sure to put finished to the one you have.  The men here who work with the stuff use the roughest sort of pocket knife.  Generally a throw away.  Or something with disposable blades.  I suspect you do too.
Now for the answer for how many Classics are in the camouflage photo game..... The answer is one.  The blue one is a Classic.  The white one is a Bijou, while the red one is a Rally.  Best wishes.  G

Yes normally use a standard untilty blade, but interested to see just how far I can push the classic. It's slow going (see picture below).

The classic has been my only knife for everything (diy and food prep), and have sharpened it 7 times now...currently sharp as a chop stick thanks to the drywall.

there's so many different variations in the 58 mm footprint that it can definitely be confusing!

no worries you have NOT been disqualified!  :salute:

Day 1: Because I forgot yesterday...

Unlike most of my Classics, this purple one isn't exactly sharp. Going to need to probably use the Guided Field Sharpener. The previous owner added this purple/orange lanyard, and it's pretty much been on it ever since.

Day 2:

Horn-Handled Bijou/Companion, probably from the 1960s. Got this one for near nothing a couple of years back, and don't use it much.

Scale tools are from one of my many cheap Cellidor Classic SDs. I think both the toothpick and tweezers were missing when I got it.

I found a little mechanical pencil in an old pencil case of mine, and I decided to transfer the leads and eraser over from a cheap Staples mechanical pencil (which I always buy in bulk, as you can get a whole case for like $2-3 when the school year begins).

However, I had to wrap the eraser in tape in order to tightly close up the top of the pencil. The eraser is much smaller that whatever this pencil came with originally.

Day 2

Had to do a Classic move and sharpen a pencil which didn't take long with the sharp blade.  Then I needed to remove this SwissQlip from another SAK because I'm not totally fond of it.  Kind of regret buying it but... maybe with a bit of modding it'll be more to my liking.  But that's a project for another day.

May the best of your past, be the worst of your future.

Day 2

No use day, so here's another random Classic from my collection. I don't even know where this one came from. You get so many of them in lots and two packs and stuff when you buy other knives. Makes them easy to pass on when someone needs a knife or something though. Just gave a matching set to a mom and daughter at the NYE part we went to this weekend. Wonder if the kid's cut herself yet.

Day 2:
Last day of Christmas break for us. Back to the classroom tomorrow. My kids are excited to get back and see their friends. I could use a couple of more days at home with them and my wife. We have been running nonstop for the last 10 or 12 days. It was a good break filled with lots of family time, though. The only use for my Mint classic was to open a new bag of cat food.

Classic SD Wood for today.

No uses so far other than fidgeting - the wood scales feel great in the hand.

DAY 3

Sooo I don't think I'll recommend to use a classic to do this job, it took a while and I have damaged the tip...but it still did the job...I might be a little kinder to the little wee knife from now on?

It's difficult to picture but the tip has a wave bend in the first 8mm

Yes, wall board cutting is definitely the upper limit of Classic ability, I think.  I have straightened out a minor bend in Victorinox knives before.  I have also seen broken tips, so be careful if you try it.
After all that, I bet the blade is still tight in the frame.  If you ever get all that gypsum dust out of it.  I saw where Lisa is cheering from the sidelines.  Lots of nice photos from awl.  As usual I am taking the worst pictures.
Mostly using the Bijou to fiddle with my nails.  I am carrying the blue Classic.  It did the coffee opening.  Best wishes.  G

Day 3

Some mysterious packages arrived at the Glenfiddich residence. In fact they were so mysterious that Special Agent SAK from the DEA wanted to take a look at them first.

When the suspicious white substance was cleared, the Special Agent released the packages and the content turned out to be some Swiss made military hardware that was meant for the Dutch army  :salute:

Don't tell anyone!  :dwts:

A simple use, but, as intended.

I’m really enjoying all the posted uses.  Giving me some inspiration.

DAY 3  Can you assemble this big box of parts with just your trusty blue Classic SD?      It turns out you can.  All I needed to do was cut tape and slice bubble wrap.  The rest required no tools.  However, not knowing that ahead of time, I was fully prepared to turn screws with just the SD.
