DAY 7

Tried the file on the D/F today. All it did was take some rust off  :dunno:
Worse than useless

:ahhh  I haven't tried it, but the Dual Force file not very aggressive on the finger.

The file on any MT seems to be the first thing to be lacking.  A file has certain requirements to make it first rate - quality steel and proper machining - that cheapy MTs are not willing to invest in.  Many modern SOGs fall into this category.

Not good, sir.  But this is what makes it a Challenge!

I picked it up when one of the local department stores went out of business.  It's a Craftsman bit kit, which fits perfectly with the Center Drive bitholder.  With it you can pretty much do anything Surge!  :ahhh

:iagree: PN, although the Leatherman and Vic saws are more aggressive.  You're right about the SOG file too Surge.

Day 8

Didn’t really get a chance to do much with the CD today. Did mail call duties and freed a new OPINEL no. 8 in olive wood. I am really enjoying the wood grain on this one.

I like having a saw in my EDC because I spend a lot of time puttering in the yard and there's always something that needs to be cut.  The CD is missing a saw but the DF has one that is more than capable of cutting palm fronds or branches up to a couple of inches in diameter.

Love that Olivewood!  I agree Alan about the saw.  It's a mid I had in mind with my Center Drive.

Powernoodle Day 9

I vivisected a cardboard box with the Center Drive.  Normally I would use a box cutter/utility knife.

Bonus pic, not just knife usage today. Walk in cooler wasn't locking when the door was shut. This coolers like 40+ years old and has a dial you turn to move the lockface in and out. Used the driver on the Armbar to rotate it around and make the door lock proper

WDT '24 Day 09
I opened a couple of packages of chorizos. I had a couple for lunch to make sure they were good and the rest are for me and my partner to eat this weekend when we're working.

Powernoodle Day 10

A siren on our home security system has had trouble staying connected to the system, so I changed the batteries.  Again.
