I would have been happy to receive the same pen back with a new clip. The response was thus:

"The pen is not repairable. The clip is part of the internal assembly of the pen and it is not possible to disassemble the pen to replace the clip.
Nor is it economically viable to even attempt to do this as the cost far exceeds the price of a new pen."

Now if I was in the USA it may be economically viable and I disagree about the the clip being part of the internal assembly.
The economically viable part is probably more due to needing to send it back to the factory where they have the right tools.

Anyway, my wife's ok that it isn't the same one. It got plenty of use and pocket time, so a shiny new one is quite nice to have.

Nice!

"Dear sir: sorry to hear about your flat tire. The tire is part of the internal assembly of the car and it is not possible to disassemble the car to replace the tire. Nor is it economically viable to even attempt to do this as the cost far exceeds the price of a new car. Enjoy your new vehicle."

Went down the Space Pen rabbit hole this past week.  Have a few coming in the mail.
First one to arrive is this Shuttle Pen with Black Grid design.
Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

Thanks Nate!

Just got a new-to-me, but used AG-7.  I like it a lot.
I've been using the Trangia pen which is a Ballograf Epoca pen, which I like, but I'll try this AG-7 for a while.

Rest in peace ColoSwiss, you will always be remembered.

I've had a Bullet Pen for over 20 years, been using other brand refills. Not mad about the size, but it's good enough for random notes, and travels inside the wallet so it's always there.

Recently I got the Backpacker Pen because I can hang it in a chain or even keyring, if necessary.

I ended up sending my pen back to Fisher for warranty work. Not only did they fix the clip, they also send a personalized letter saying the pen was checked over for warranty work but also sent me a complimentary refill!  :tu:

Did not even think to send my bullet in, warranty or not.    Over the years and drops and such,it has come apart and doesnt seem to want to stay put back together for long.

Seems I can no longer find a store I can walk into and buy one so I have to order online , or maybe try sending this one in

Spot on!

I am back to Fisher Bullets again.  I switched to cheaper Parkers for a few years, but they were less comfortable to carry and I ended up losing them more often (so close to a wash in terms of cost).

For me I also like the Parker Jotter.  Have one in my shirt pocket as I write this.  A little less expensive than fisher but I still never lose them

Love my PARKERs and the JOTTER does carry nicely.

The FISHER refills include an adapter for the Parker pens.

I found this at SPORTSMAN warehouse and it is fitted with a FISHER cartridge (noted on the lower area of card)

I also like as the barrel is triangular, easier for my older hands to hold.  :like:

Hope yours is as good!
