The title stated it. We all know how useful the multitools we carry everyday are. How about now we do the opposite and show some of the most impractical or useless multitools here?  :rofl:

We all love SAK but this one is just so ridiculous it deserves a place here. It has everything but how could you even find and use the right tool when you need it  :rofl:
But at least it has collecting value so...  :D

   SOG, useless?  Well I will have to take friend hiraethus word for it.  I never had one of the things.  It's funny.  They look about like the other stuff.  What do I know?
   In the interest of further hands-on research, I propose anyone who would like to dispose of a SOG of some sort to send me a PM.  I will give them my mailing address.  I will put on appropriate eye wear and gloves and test these horrible things until they collapse, rust away to nothing, or until I lose them somewhere.  The latter is painfully common around here.  Just last week I lost my cell phone, car keys, pockey knife, and some socks.  I found everything else expect the socks.  Oh, and my pink paper clip that I use to keep my wee SAKs tethered (to keep from losing them) did turn up. 
    I will be checking my in-box.  Best wishes.  Gary

Mine (bought around the time these started popping up at Lowe's close to a decade ago) are still in a toolbox until I can get up to the CAT dealer to snag a pair of rebranded Snap-On Spanish-made ones as I try to keep at least a 5WR and 6LN in most pliers  drawers. They sucked--big time. Even worse, the bit driver either smashed my fingers when the holder folded up or the bit would randomly fall out.

Tried the 5WR version as well (Ollie's had them a few years ago for like five bucks a pop) and it was still terrible. The 6LN version's blade is useless due to them being shorter than the pliers.  There's a reason the Schrade Tough Grip (mostly built by Petersen save for the non-pliers bits), Kershaw A-100 (my current locking pliers tool) and Leatherman Crunch all mount the blades to pivot OPPOSITE the pliers.

I don’t have it anymore but the Swiss Tech Utili-Key tops my list.  You have to open it, which leaves the blade open to use the tools.  Maybe it is just me, but almost every time I used it resulted in a minor cut.

I had a Utili-Key. The best thing about it was that it could really fly under "no weapons" radar.

My constant key companion for years, that is until it broke. I had no problems ever using it but will agree that the design wasn't the best. Now I have a carabiner with hidden scalpel blade made my RovyVon that takes up what the Utili-key did all those years. I never used the Phillips, but that is the part that broke the first time I needed to used it.

I have a Geekey that I got second hand that flies with me. As far as that form factor goes, I think it's pretty good. It's tightened a couple screws and bolts over the years at least.

To me key-sized tools are more like toys, rather than actual tools. Usually the cutting edge is too small to be useful for anything other than cutting tapes for opening package, the screwdrivers are short and you can't have a good grip on the tools.
