Day 5
Starting the day with a long slow distance run (17km) at 4am. Took a shower, and commuted to a restaurant near to office and have the coffee fix (coffee/tea/milk mix) along with the PST.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

This was not expected. When I moved, with this PST, I cut the zip tie which held the AC adapter of a small TV set in sleeping room, accidentally cut the DC wire of it as well. So here the PST is off to fix what is wrong, stripping the wire with the wire cutter.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Then adjusted the my goot px201 soldering iron with it's small slotted driver.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

And the adapter is fixed with some solder, tape and heat shrink. And it is now only 9:30am, still a long day ahead!

Day 4

Not much use today, used it to slice some cheese at lunch. Multitools aren't my favorite to use with food as they're a pain to clean if you get then to dirty. But I'm dedicated to using it  :salute:

Great use of the small screwdriver!

@gra_farmer: a real Mini (not the BMW thing) is one of my dream cars. I'd love to see a photo of your Dad's Mini!

@mvp: was it a new multi?

@Barry Rowland: hammer time! :like:

@VICMAN: I was doing some flashlight shopping this morning. The Tini looks pretty interesting. And I slept kinda badly last night. Should do better tonight, though.

@LoopCutter: that JPST looks better than mine!

@SteveC: hair removal is a constant at my house, too. Is Cassie a heavy shedder?

@FolderBeholder: I like your watch, too! :tu:

@SubMY: I typically limit my multi food prep to can opening. Because I use my ST300s at work, their openers are unlikely to see use (unless I give them a very deep cleaning).

Another great day, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 4

 >:D

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The opener handled the can pretty well. In case anyone is interested, the can contained Campbell's Chunky soup: cheesy jalapeño burger with bacon bits.

This time I managed to not drop the tool in the can. :D

Day 4

Here is a fuzzy picture of the PST file in use:

A circuit breaker for a pool spa had not been making good contact with the busbar for a while. When an electrical contact point starts failing, the resistance of the electrical circuit at that point increases and heat is generated. The heat increases the rate of oxidation, which increases the resistance of the contact point even more. This eventually causes damage to the circuit breaker and the busbar.

In this case, the busbar had not been damaged but did need some oxidation removed. The nonaggressive single cut side of the PST file was just what I needed to clean up the busbar.

Some really great PST and non-PST related posts in this thread!   :like:

Day 4:

Only real use today was removing the draft guard. Not sure if I’ll get to add the new one tonight. I tried first using the Minichamp flathead and spatula for that challenge and the PST medium driver had to step in.

Great use of the small screwdriver!

Never think the small driver is useful. But my desk is messy, and the PST was already opened and easier to grab it than finding an actual small driver. Now I look at it in a new way.

A "New" Leatherman Tool Adapter! I opened the box and took the picture after taking the tool out of the box. In my mind it was pretty self-explanatory, but now I understand that maybe it wasn't!

Day 4 of 30

Really liking the new additions to the PST 1.5, so far :salute:

I am really digging the pocket clip on this thing and the blade deploys well and after a bit of sharpening, the blade is sharp now :o :D

I have the Executive with me out of habit

(Image removed from quote.)

Great mod ! I did something similar, except For my own PST2.1, I drilled a hole in the scales so that the metal tab could nest correctly  ; the clip doesn't wiggle side to side that way and the clip is parallel to the scales and hugs them better, IMHO.
[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]
It's close to perfect for me, every day carry in my wallet for sure. Because of a better tool set (scissors, file, serrated edge), it beats the Sideclip in everything (except for style of course).

Love this mod as well, just sad a Sideclip had to be amputated for this to happen…  :D

That would definitely help all wiggle :o Mine, so far, hasn't really had a problem because I bent the tab and it put some tension against the handle :salute: and :iagree: that the PST II toolset is superior to the SideClip but the SideClip does have that cool factor  8) :like:
