@Adam5: I thought for sure you'd have brownies cooling. :pok: :D

@mvp @SubMY: fantastic sunrise/sunset photos! :like:

@SteveC: an absolutely fantastic find! :tu:

@LoopCutter: :iagree: the black oxide PST is a real beauty!

@Antti Lammi: my JPST is loose enough that I could probably flick it open one-handed, like a balisong.

Another great day, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 8 (catching up again)

Unintentional naps are bad enough. I've awlso discovered that the tip of the fine screwdriver is slightly tweaked. :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I'd suspect that the clod who mutilated the blade is responsible for the kinked screwdriver, too. :twak:

DAY 9

Here is my PST with my DIY Opinel.  The second picture shows what the DIY Opinel looked like before I carved the handle with a Mora Eldris. The other 2 pictures show it from 2 more angles.

Wow! Nice picture @Poncho65! BO PST with large pliers head! What date codes does it have? I have one from 0501/0601 but it still has the small pliers head.

I remembered :woohoo: both have are 0303 :salute:

Great job!!
Day 8

(Image removed from quote.)

Started a little late backpacking in to my campsite.  :twak:

But 4 miles later and over a 1000 feet in eleation later. I made it. One of the only ones out this weekend. It's winter but this is california so it's not actually cold.

(Image removed from quote.)

Here it is helping open up some ramen for dinner. I usually prefer soups, and mash potatoes while hiking, but this was a spur of the moment trip.

Not my favorite camp ground. No water here so you have to pack it all in with you.

Day 9: Been working at Trader Joe's so I haven't been up to much PST wise.  I did install an eye hook upstairs with the awk and pliers.

My attempt at a pretty shot of my leatherman.

Here my campsite for the trip, I had already cleaned out the tent. You can just barely see the PST on the table

DAY 8

Catch up day....I used the sideclip to prep last nights dinner, the small blade works rather well.

I use the multi tool open when doing food prep with all the multi tools I have, that have internal tools / blades....so more comfortable to use

DAY 9

Took the children out to the seaside, to ride there bikes, quickly pulled together a bike tool kit...

And it all together

The beautiful wife, holding the sideclip, the older leatherman tool are her preferred, the edges are more rounded and overall the finish is more refined, like the swiss tools.
