Looks like it would be a UK friendly Rebar JonesE!

Thanks Barry! I never used the lanyard ring and I have used the saw to cut PVC pipe and wood trim. I figured, I could always tie a lanyard to the pocket clip if I ever chose to tie one.

I'd love to put the Rebar saw gifted to me by Antti in my Bond.  I'm just like you in that I haven't used the lanyard ring yet on my Leathermans but like having that saw.  I have an idea floating around to pick up a pair of scissors from a knife less Rebar and make a Bond II.

Thank you JonesE!

Barry, which tool can go in that lanyard spot?  I'm game for switching out that lanyard ring for something else.

Day 7

Clip arrived and installed:

So good!

My OCD amped up each time I saw those holes in the handle.

My new lays out, with that side down for now!!!🙄

Thank you LISA, really thank you.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

I'm thinking the saw, Lisa.  I'd like to pick up a pair of Leatherman scissors and give it a go though.  I'm not sure on the dimensions width wise, of the scissors.
Edit: Can you still get the wrenches I've seen on here for the Leatherman knurled screws?
Thank you JonesE!

:hatsoff: Thanks Vicman!  I've always been afraid to mod for fear of damaging the tool, but the Bond seems pretty friendly to work with, and I like JonesE mid a lot.  After carrying a PST II for the PST Challenge, I think scissors would be a good addition.  You can never go wrong with a saw either, especially to complement that excellent file.

I think scissors would be a good addition.

I believe Poncho tried adding in the scissors from a wave or charge. I think he can provide some insight on how well it worked out.

Some insight, the edge of the file on the BOND is aggressive. It DOES cut PVC pipe easily and expect it will handle wood trim as well.

If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

It does well Kev.  It also saves the blade if you're doing a bunch of boxes.

Thanks Barry!

You're right about that Gordon!  I've used the metal file side of it to smooth off some bolt heads and it's one of the best out there.
I'm going to give it a go on some wood soon.

You have to hit “insert attachment” next to your uploads. For example, here is the same photo twice. The first I will hit “insert attachment” and the second I will not.  [ Quoting of attachment images from other messages is not allowed ]

Both of those pics look the same size on my computer   That said, I usually post pics using the "insert image" tag instead of uploading.  Maybe that's my problem.
