Yeah, well the whole thing holds together with two 8mm long screws lodged in a tiny little plastic part.
Talk about planned obsolescence.

One thing is sure, that's not LM's approach to things. Even a typical Bond villain would have a hard time destroying those multitools !

A second go at my daughter's vacuum cleaner. The hose was thoroughly clogged. I used the Bond to remove a screw to make the cleaning out easier to perform:
