Good morning everybody.
I really dislike the harsh morning sun but definitely think that it's better than the rain that we've had for the past couple days. Perhaps after the porch dries out this afternoon I can get out to my work area.
In the meantime, I did some oiling to my PowerPint and my cattleman's Jack knife.

Day 08
I got your rain PC. It's ok, we need it. Today I went back to the PowerPint.  I want to give it a fair chance to prove itself and that's going to take more than a week.  Today's fixie is the Wissahickon Critter in 1095

We're supposed to get more rain on Thursday and Friday.  Our mower is in the shop right now and the green stuff is getting out of hand.

The door latch on the storm door broke yesterday so I went to the Home Depot website and ordered a replacement.  It had a next day delivery which was almost unheard of, but it arrived this afternoon.
The PowerPint tore into it.

We actually got sun today.  It was blowing and we had snow flurries this morning!
Great pics guys!  It's definitely that kind of day.  I ran some errands earlier and trying to get caught up at home now.

Not much going on today, so you get a wood pile pic. P3 with a 551SBK for today.

Day 9: Used the wonderful Powerlock Philips head to remove an old license plate!  Having the larger body of the Powerlock helped me with this because it's been on this car for 13 years, and gave me some leverage.

As we were rain free, yesterday, I got around to the second version of the Power slip.
Version 2 seems to be nearly perfect for me.
Could have been a little narrower, but if I'd used a thicker leather it'd be taken up some.
After I finished it I realized that I couldn't find my leather stain so I did what comes naturally, to me.
I dug around my box of stuff that I keep out front and found a can of Dark Walnut Minwax wood stain.
Problem solved.
After wet forming,  last night, here it is.

Hopefully the BO will like a second hand slip.
IDK, but it's all in the family.

Great use today Barry. PC, the slip turned out great. I like your idea of using some Minwax as a leather stain.

Day 09
By coincidence I was also installing a new license plate today.  The driver on the PowerPint was too small so it remained clipped to my pocket, and I had to use the PowerLock.

I'm a big fan of that Philips Alan.  It's tough and fits well in most screws.

Can I join late?

Just got a PPP, seeing it in a display with discount collecting dust with slight rust.  since it is about the size of my PST and my wife probably won't spot they are different. I decided to rescue it.

Comes with original box and sleeve as well. Made in Taiwan.

The wings were removed on this one, which I can understand for EOD purposes.  I like the wings for keeping debris out the works, as well as the comfort factor.  I'm going to try it and see what I think without wings.  It has a similar feel to the OG Super Tool, but not quite the bite in my palms.

Good morning, good morning, good morning.

The Boss Lady decided that she wanted to go to Target today and did I want to go.  I politely declined opting to open my new PowerPint instead.  The package opener on my other PowerPint made quick work on the clamshell plastic as I wanted to keep the card.

I think I need to try one out...eventually. Circumstances are conspiring against me big-time, so I'm not having anything shipped for a while.

Barry, is that an NSN etched on your new SOG?
