Got not problem with moving it up. I'm doing the Giants in June challenge ,and I like having a month or so's break between challenges. Much better for me.

Can this one come out to play?  It's a no name brand but it's not bad.

Tiny: Check

Keyring: Check

Oh yeah.

I realized I'm gonna be on a cruise for part of the challenge. The website says small blade okay, but maybe I'll try a Mini Sailor Lite. I don't think I have any Nextools.

Nice!

I've been after one of those mini Switch Plier knockoffs for ages. They seem a little hard  to find. I don't think anyone makes them anymore.

This is the first time I've ever run into this type of knock off.  I picked them out of the Surprise Box GAW.

There's one on fleaBay but not sure it's worth that price.

I had my keychain picked out before the challenge got re-scheduled.  It is still around.  Somewhere.  I do have a Swiss+Tech mini tool.  It loosened up a good bit when I used it for a Cheap-and-Cheerless series a while back.  Not very much to write about on these very simple tools.  For 30 days.  I might try to peen over the loose rivet holding one of the 'legs' on the Swiss+Tech.  Say, that could be good for a couple of posts right there.  IMR searches for a hammer.  Loose appendage and rivet.  Whammering with the hammer.  Repair or maybe ruined.  Moaning about a busted rivet.  Searching for a replacement.  Rusty nail, or maybe cotter pin?  I could stretch that boring crapola out for a week.  At least.
Best wishes.
G

I've tried re-peening those rivets.  Perhaps it was a bit too much with the 5lb sledge hammer.  I think it's still mucking about somewhere in the garage.  Might try to find it.

I found my Swiss+Tech tiny tool, then I lost it, and found it again.  I am getting better at losing things, or the things are getting better at hiding from me.  It wasn't quite as loose as I thought.  I'd hate to carry that thing for a month.  Alone.  By itself and no blade.  What to do?
I did what I usually do.  Improvise.  This is the first itera.... uttera.... itterati.... prototype of the IMR tool.  Don't laugh.  It turned out lots better than what I had first planned.  The pliers are really good.  Made from Diamalloy, whatever that is.  The snap link I found in a parking lot.  It had been run over by a car, but that only made the surface more grippy.  Red object is a 65mm Wenger thinger.  I have a black one that I could substitute.  I haven't put any keys on it yet, since I am a little early.    [ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

Thanks Pit.  I figured somebody would appreciate the minimal financial aspect of my invention.  Pliers belonged to my Dad.  Found the mini-biner.  Wenger came out of the surprise box last year sometime.
I saw your Mossy Oak.  Have you seen the 10-in-1 Mossy Oak that looks like a cross between a Ruike and a Swiza.  AmaZone has them for about $26.  It has tools about like a Victorinox Climber, but looks husky.  Looks good in the ad.  Best wishes.  G
