Day 16
Late post, about to turn in...thinking about relocating the wrenches and bit kit to one of the the pouches that usually in my bag.
A tomorrow decision for tomorrow's me. (If I bother)
I used to be a lot of things, and someday will again.
But for now I'm just a lost jack of trades with neither mastery nor home. ~NoaIsumi

:dunno:

I do know that the Klein handle does feel "right" in my hand compared to the Milwaukee.

That is my experience as well but I thought maybe since you used them much more than I would that hopefully it would start to feel better

Day 17

I used the Milwaukee mini ratchet and a Milwaukee deep socket set to remove shipping brackets from a couple of server racks:

The server racks will house backup power for the emergency electrical system at a plastic surgeon's office in Cary, NC. I will start assembling the system tomorrow, and I imagine I will need a ratchet to do it.

DAY 17  My kit for the day.  Challenges can be like Christmas.  Find a ratchet you have had, but haven't thought about in some time, and start liking it again.

There are two things that make me much prefer the Klein. First, though there are more bits with the Milwaukee, they are short. Good luck if the screw you are dealing with is recessed. Second, the Klein handle is much better in my opinion. Now, I used Klein screwdrivers for 30 years (I am very rough on screwdrivers and changed over from Klein to cheaper Husky 6-in-1 screwdrivers during the last ten years), so I am very used to the handle. To someone else, it may not matter. But it does to me.

Day 17:

70’s era craftsman 3/8” fine tooth round head ratchet.

Also in the back ground is a new small parts organizer I got. After getting the larger top tool box, I’m trying to get the garage more organized.

Heck, I’ll include a couple pics of the garage. Ignore the mess of kids bikes in the middle.

I’ve seen those construction ratchets and similar construction adjustable wrenches but never learned what the spiky end is used for

To line up bolt holes.

It also allows you to use a cheater pipe to increase leverage.

Running out of ratchets to show off...
But I did discover that linking the 1/2in Craftsman with that weird female drive I get a rather addictive fidget toy.
Why have I never done this before, or did I just forget

DAY 18

Excellent pics & uses awl  :2tu:

The weather here has been up & down so I needed to adjust my nuts (again)

Naturally, my nuts needed the big boy ratchet so I used the one usually reserved for the hog and hand-cranked my nuts until suitably tight

The Knipex assisted with the nut juggling  ;)

I'm still getting slowly caught up with this challenge. There has been an astounding variety of tools thus far, and I'm reminded yet again that a palm ratchet might be a good purchase. Great work, y'awl! :2tu:

Day 18

Towed my trailer about 1000 miles.  Started out with all 4 wheels clean,  Now, 1 wheel looks like this, others are clean. Ratchet torque wrench needs to be used to start an investigation.

Day18
Changeing belts means I have to remove this little shelf and the guards.
Normally I'd use the universal socket in a bit driver, but this is a Ratchet challenge.

I know a lot of people hate these universal sockets, but I find they are great for adjusting machines that only need to be hand tight as I don't have to search for the right size.
