I learned something new today!!!

April 15 in the U.S. of A. is tax day.  You must, by this date, you must report your income for the previous year and settle your tax obligations.

And, again this year, I have been told that my contributions to USA knife makers in exchange for interesting cutting objects is not tax deductible.

And, then this year after several sizable contributions to VICTORINOX in SWITZERLAND, learn two things.

FIRST - Switzerland is not a third world country, yes it is small, but not underprivileged.
 
SECOND - VICTORINOX is NOT the charitable organization I thought.   Each and every donation I made in 2025 has been denied as deductions.

Since learning this yesterday, I had less than 24 hours to correct my return and settle my account. 😳

This message’s sole porpoise is to inform and educate. And maybe even cause a snicker🤪

Here in Canada, our income tax deadline is April 30th. After that, if you owe the Government starts applying late penalty fees.

Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. In this challenge,  carry one(1) Pliers-based or Non-pliers multitool that we always have prejudice against, hate or even fear and post a picture everyday for 30 days Start a new thread and post a photo of the leatherman (supertool, core, hacks) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Complete a 30 day challenge for carrying a different Multi tool each day of the week based on one of the daily carry threads Participate in a Challenge and post a photo of a Traditional Scout Knife (No SAK's Allowed) for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread and post a photo of any gear for thirty (30) consecutive days during the MTo anniversary month.

On the other hand, tools and supplies used for work are indeed tax deductible...so, become a tradesman, or make a living whittling little Santa Clauses out of sticks and make a case for it.  But be prepared to be denied
