For a while, Denmark had a strict knife rule stating that one hand opening blades were illegal. To comply with this rule, Leatherman removed the blade holes and installed traditional nail nicks on the one side. I know Leatherman does not make these modified blades anymore as I do believe the Danish market requires them anymore.

I had to go through great difficulty to get these. I had to call Leatherman's Danish branch 3 times to convince them to sell to me. I remember lurking on another forum years later and read someone from Mexico was not happy because he sent ion his Wave for repair and they replaced it with one of these. I thought to myself from a collector perspective, that was the luckiest guy ever. He disagreed and understandably so.

Cool!

They weren't an option here because so many people are into tacti-cool or, simply, the convenience of OHO.  Personally I tend to carry a Spydie for my One hand open knife needs, so I don't need my Leatherman to do that, so I carry a Rebar.  But there is a Surge in the truck.  That GMC seems the proper place to carry a Rebar
