Sold my old Tenacious and bought this Resilience brand new. I'm loving the size, especially the 4.25" blade

Gave my wife my Resilience. She’s a very tiny woman and it looks like a sword in her hands.

No inappropriate jokes please.....   :twak:

This is truly a great value for money folder from them. I'm surprised they even offer this size at this price point.

This was my first Spydie too and might be my biggest folder still?
It is a whole lot of knife for the money too!

With an Endura for comparison

And add a Delica

How has your Resilience held up after all this years?

I wanted to buy a 5.5" Cold Steel Talwar, but price is too much for me now. So I checked Spyderco's biggest folders and was delighted to find this Resilience at this price point. I'm happy  :ahhh

the Resilience I have has the G10 completely smooth where the clip touches the scales, from being worn and eroded by weeks of pocket carry, extraction and clipping, I think you can appreciate that in the pic here, between the 2nd and 3rd handle screw it's visibly smoother and darker  :ahhh

All other things have remained well (action, lockup, etc.) and still has no blade play or wobble at all. ALso the steel has held up nicely, it rusted on me once after cutting food, but some polish took care of it quickly  :salute:

The knife itself is big, here next to the standard Pacific Salt I carry,

and then the same Pacific compared to a 5.5" Talwar like the one you wanted. That Talwar is not big, it's HUGE   :o

but it's definitely a nice piece, and very well designed, built and finished   :tu:

I'm so glad the Resilience is indeed resilient
