Welcome to the forum ducktapehero, is it true that duct tape can be used instead of toilet paper for the clean up effort? :D

So this Leatherman you have, is it the same PST you had in the military?
No, after I got out I gave that one to my Dad and bought a new one. I was in my early 20's and "sentimental" things weren't on my mind. But I wish I had it now. My Dad isn't sure where it is, he might have given it to my brother. After the new year I may start the hunt for it to see if I can track it down. If I can I may frame it with some of my awards and discharge papers. Or I may put it in my junk drawer and put it back to work. Although it was pretty worn out by the time I got out of the military. I was mechanized Infantry so it got a LOT of work messing around with those Bradley's.

Right now I have a LM Kick now that is my usual one I turn to if I need a multi-tool. I also have a couple of Juice's, a black Mini-tool, an SOG Cross Cut, an SOG Powerlock, a LM Supertool 200, a Schrade tough Chip, a basic Swiss Tech keychain pliers, and I have 3 Gerber Solstice's in the mail to me. I help my wife teach a youth group at church and there's 2 boys that have really stepped up to the plate this year and helped us with stuff. I'm giving each one of them one of those and, of course, keeping one for myself. I also have about 10 Swiss Army Knives around here too. None of these are used very hard anymore. My "adventure" days are over, now they do mundane things like put together Xmas toys and the occasional "honey-do" around the house.  :multi:

I THINK that's all the multi-tools I have right now. I've owned some other ones that I've either lost, given away or just flat out broke.

It's something they will always remember.

Hi there Carlos! Welcome to this forum.

I joined this forum only last September and I have already learned a lot about MTs.

One more thing I learned is that... the thickness of our wallets is inversely proportional to the number of our MTs.

Hey Carlos- great to have you here!

We have a pretty broad range of folks on this forum, and it's always nice to have another country represented!

Make sure you add your location to the Multitool.org Member Map when you get a chance!

As much as this is a multitool site, I'd actually love to see a picture of those dogs!

Most folks around here have opted for the more manageable sized Shelties rather than the full sized collies and I've always been fascinated by them.

Interestingly enough, the only time I've ever been seriously bitten was by a collie, but that never got in the way of being good friends with the dog and the owners!

Welcome to the forum Calvin- I am glad that you are enjoying the site.  We try hard to make it worth checking out, and we are a little lax rules, thread drift etc, but that's what makes the place fun to be around.  Oh yeah, that and the top notch folk we have hanging around!

Def

First try to post a picture, here is a picture of my 2 collies and my brothers (on the left).

Yeah, yeah, yeah. You wait until I have time to take some new pics, you'll get sick of them! :D

Those are some pics taken in June about a month after getting Binger. I'll take some new ones as you can guess, although still a puppy, she is about full grown.

Here are two more old pics, one of my big boy Seven (his birthday was yesterday, he's 3) and another of my little girl Binger when she was still tiny.

P.S. Great yard I have there isn't it?

I doubt I'll ever get sick of doggy pics- I could sit and look at pics of them all day long and never get bored!

The only thing better than looking at dog pictures is getting down in the mud and paying with the real things!

Well as you can see from my yard, when it rains I get plenty of mud! That Binger seems to find every bit of it and bring inside.

Been posting a while though I'd do the obligatory introduction. Not sure what I should say, let's see. I grew up in a machine shop so I've been around tools all my life, dealt with a lot of 'em. I've done a lot of different jobs ,cnc operator, computer tech, hog farm worker, and customer service rep. I'm a strong believer in versatility and improvisation.
My hobbies are reading, fiddling w/ computers, knives, guns, reloading my own ammo(I have a Dillon 650),and of late multi-tools. I started with a cheapo multi-tool that I beat to death,it saved me a lot of grief a couple times. I had to retire it when it got too bent to work anymore. Currently have a couple Gerber MP600's and a Vic Spirit on order.
I'm between jobs, single (looking for a sweet oriental girl to walk on my back),have 2 cats,2 computers ,lots of guns and books. Thanks for the warm welcome.

Yeah, my uncle was married to a Korean lady for a while. She was great but getting on her bad side wasn't a smart idea. I lived with them about a year and never got used to the smell of Kimchi.
