Nice things on the way  :like:

The Juice is a nice tool as is the UKPK.  I don't use my UKPK much but I'm glad to have it.

:hatsoff:

Not sure how much I'll use the UKPK as well but, I can't really carry the Manix 2 here  so I thought I'd try one that I can.

Can't see it replacing my PX/FX for EDC but, never say never  :dunno:

I just ordered and payed for this Rough Rider doctor´s knife in smooth tobacco bone.
Now the long wait begins. Seller is Lamnia in Finland, ETA Sat. 18th.
I wonder whether the spatula blade is any good at spreading peanut butter.

I looked at the RR Doc knife.  I like the nail nick placements.  I would think peanut butter could be spread as long as its smooth not chunk or extra chunky  :dunno: :)

My shirts came in the other day, but the one dark shirt didn’t have a pocket, so the Mrs had to write them and we needed to send them back, but their sending a new set, now the other day the delivery company just left a sicker at our back door, why our back door? So they came again today knocked, and I ran, but by the time I got to the door he already started the truck up and was ready to leave, like dude? So I handed it off, then 30min later we got another knock on the door and the other shirts show up, and this time they both have pockets!

Our mailboxes for the few houses on my road are at the end of the road at the end of state maintenance. We have a really big mailbox set up on the outside of our chainlink fence when there's packages that won't fit in the standard-size mailbox; and they have to come to the house and we didn't know they were there; or were gone at the time. One day, close to Christmas, I had some stuff come in (at 7 in the morning!) on the side porch. I got up that morning, and was checking my tracking info, seeing if it was out for delivery. It had already been delivered! That side porch borders my room, and I saw the package sitting there. That's inside a chainlink fence, which is held on pretty good. I don'teven know how the heck they got in there without making any noise!

Just carry both.  :D
I like your thinking  :tu:

However, here in the UK and, in particular where I live (a town centre) it would be VERY difficult to justify carrying both, when one is just a blade (which the SAKs have)

I would probably get away with not being stopped by the Police, given my age and demeanour but, if I was travelling on public transport (I try to avoid this at all costs) then with the knife arches put up randomly at transport hubs it would be a tough ask.

NB: I say this as someone who used to police the transport network in London

Therefore, it would be a choice and; the SAKs are just more useful and universally acceptable.

I guess it's just about perception and that, unfortunately, is subjective and not objective  ::)

Our mailbox is mounted on our house right outside our front door, and our mailman has to walk up the steps everyday to put anything in it, he’s got to walk his entire route so if there’s a package he’ll skip our mail and then bring his mail truck and drop it off along with any package, that’s mail, ups or fedex will normally ring the doorbell then bang on the door and run, unless it’s a pickup, then their sneaky like the other day why leave the return sticker between the two doors at the back door? And we were home, we never heard anything, heck not even the dog, and to top it off, they always come after 3 to drop off, that sticker had to be there before 10, sneaky! I should see if I can roll the cameras back and see what he did,,

Just been dispatched is a slip pouch for my recently acquired FX.

I have one for my PX so it only seemed fair to get one for the FX.

I can't fault the quality of the current one so it was a no brainer...

This one is in Walnut (the PX one is "Chocolat")

I finally got around to ordering this one, after a year. Klein discontinued it a few years back, but it seems a lot of industrial supply places still have it.

Klein Tools 44038 two-blade Jack. Photo shows a Stockman, which is 44040. I am not sure what'll show up at this point. Pretty sure this a Kutmaster product.

From my local knife store (I think their store is still closed; over this COVID stuff). Buck Vantage Select as well as two 48-knife storage zip pouches.  Pouches had no photos with them; but the Vantage I've been looking at for years, and as of late, it's been enjoying some heavy discounts. I wanted the smaller one, but they didn't have it; and I wanted to support local business.  This one will be a work knife. $28 isn't bad for what you get.

Yep. I've been painting some Intersessors that had already been made up and got a taste for some more. Just finished painting a Stormtalon and have been diligently weathering it to exacting U Boat standards ie rusty

And an old Robeson for the collection.  I'm thinking from the '20s or '30s. It is in the general "Electrician" or "Radio/Signal" knife setup in that it has a spear-point cutting blade and a long wire stripper/screwdriver, but adds an awl. Handles are quite beat up ivory celluloid. I paid quite a bit for this one, by my standards, at $40. They don't show up too often, however, and I've seen prices as high as triple that.

Both look great! Most of my Schrades are Ellenville, a few Schrade Walden, but I own no Schrade Cut Cos. yet. The peachseed bone they used looks great!

Hy. Kaufmann and Sons--is that related to the Kaufmann that made the Mercator?
