That's like what, the third brand I've seen it marketed under?   First, Kilamanjaro (with a cheap light), then CAT/Caterpillar (both by itself and with a cheap, small knife/light combo), and now True Utility.  But, bundled with that Nebo light and a bit kit, that's one of the better sets with that to I've seen.
Well, at £25 GBP it equates to about $34 USD so I'll give it a go and report back (or bin/donate it  :dunno: )
They don't like it up 'em!

I don't expect it to be fantastic but it comes with a free bit kit & lamp. Might be handy for the bike top-box  :dunno:

Ah--another True Utility owner! I just have a single-blade locking knife from them. Well, 2 blades if you count the hook cutter. Which is practically worthless, unfortunately. It must be very nasty steel. It dulled very quickly.

Orange Buck 283 Nano Bantam and 285 Bantam BHW; Cabela's Exclusive. They had it on sale for $12.   I saw one of these listed elsewhere, but the price was inflated. I really wanted the orange 283, which is molded in that color, not painted like the camo patterns.  I was trying to find a cheap knife to get an order with bear spray over the limit for free shipping, and I didn't want something made in the Orient. At $12, I could not say no.

I got a(nother) Tinker for Christmas. Awesome knife. So much utility in just two layers.

I have a maxpedition bum bag coming from the states. Will be a couple of weeks at least .
Last purchase of 2020 as curbing my weight nternet spending is one of my New Years resolutions.

As the new year comes in, the only thing I have on the way is a couple of carved skull beads that I plan on making in to lanyards.
Don't know how long this trend will last though.

A. Wright and Son Large Lambfoot. This replaces a quite old (1950s, I think) Taylor's Eye Witness Lambfoot I lost last year working in the yard. This one is carbon steel (C70) and has quite nice rosewood handles. The Taylor's Eye Witness had some very soft stainless steel (wouldn't hold an edge well) and shrunken cellulose acetate handles. And at $38, very reasonably priced.

Good looking knife Cody.  Hows the wood on it?  I like to give wood a nice coat of linseed oil or something to "moisturize" them.  That'll be a nice carry paired with almost anything.

I have a few SAKs coming my way. The order process was a bit difficult. First, my credit card was denied. On the second attempt the order form required a five digit zipcode. But in the Netherlands it's always six (9999AA). Web developers

Oh well. The Explorer Swiss Spirit was only €45.

They're doing that everywhere it seems. The local Exxon stations were the first to do it, and fraud prevention was their main reasoning. Now, almost every online retailer is when I don't use PayPal (which is something I'm increasingly moving away from), and sometimes, even with "Pay With PayPal" there's a blank for the ZIP code.  And really, I don't see the point. It's really easy to just look up the ZIP code. I don't see how it prevents fraud,

Waiting on a copper olight warrior mini. And still waiting on my maxpedition bum bag, which has cleared customs so could arrive anytime now.
I am quite a bit overdrawn with the bank right now so getting back in the black along with weight loss are my two goals of 2021.

So no more treats for me. :twak:

Er, there's nothing unreasonable about that. I've been tempted to buy insanely big lots like that, as to have a stock I can give away/trade; but they're expensive (as they're bid on mostly by resellers), and where in the heck am I gonna store 50 or so SAKs? I barely own 40 right now and they barely fit into two Plano tackle organizers.

This lot was actually not that expensive. It contains a lot of the older 120mm and 130mm Wenger SAKs which look interesting. I think there's even a SwissGrip. And #idontcollectwengers

I'm not an active Wenger collector either, and not the biggest fan of their designs. But, Wenger did lots of neat stuff; and I own most of what I can afford. However, they did stuff Victorinox never did; such as locking blades on not only 84mm, but a 65mm or two also; proper size folding pliers, decent pliers on a small knife (like your SwissGrip); and the Pocket Toolchest. I'm also fond of the 2D Phillips. Yet, Vic hasn't really released that many of their designs. Neither the Pocket Toolchest, nor any of its on-board tools have popped up again on a Delemont.

Awlso the "locking" bottle opener when acting as a screwdriver. That's a neat feature.

I just pulled the trigger on Swiza as I have been curious since 2015.

I have a TT05 red tick tool, D04 Moonwalk 50, D07 red Scissors, and a C01 button lock blue camo on the way.

I know that when these first hit the market, the general feeling on this forum was mostly negative. Time to see for myself what these are like...after a suitable time period.
